I had to go with the CA SVD. I had the money but ran into a few things and ASGI was having a christmas sale while evike was not. The CA will be decent, I don't need the best gun ever but I was really wanting that RS, evike also kept pushing the pre order date back. I saved about 200 dollars because of the sale from ASGI

The RS SVD only has one problem:

The gearbox will lock up (you know when you have to switch to full auto to release the lock...) and the SVD is semi auto only...

So...

Take apart gun to fix...

Don't you buy the Classic Army SVD because first, it's not what I called perfect, second, it's just 90& replica of the real steel because the real stock is wood not synthetic, third, details are like the real thing except the trigger guard (compare it to RS and real steel) and last, if you want to be the original russian sniper, BUY REAL SWORD SVD!...

not all dragonavs have wood stocks. you can get a synthetic stock. its just watever is preferable by the shooter

CA Dragunov SVD 600$ US /w the scope included. I'd say thats a pretty good deal, however i wouldn't mind spending an extra 100 for the RS SVD /w the scope included and real wood as well as steel body. Either of them is fine with me, they're both beautiful and well made <3

When it comes to electric blowback; yes.

TM is the only one with anything close to what I'd call blowback, the other ones just have a moving fake-bolt carrier.

In regards to normal AEG's; King Arms.

KWA has good internals, but are ugly.

G&G are OK in both regards,

CA suck as much on the inside as on the outside :P

KWA has solid internals but have a high trigger post breaking rate. I sold my KWA because I got fed up with it. G&G I found has been the best besides TM, CA as my comment below suggests Ive owned 3 guns by them and was not impressed. TM is always coming out with new designs, new mods, and are extremely reliable.

You must of had an older gearbox, theyve reinforced the trigger post since then, no breaks reported.

No, but to a good airsoft player, FPS means nothing. If you are a good player you can beat anyone no matter what the FPS difference. What really matters is range and accuracy. Who cares how fast the BB gets to it's location? Unless of coarse you're a sniper...

My sniper used an upgraded TM PSG-1 AEG, it was amazing,now we switched to the new Cheytac M200,We love it.

Because the gears brake down much faster when the blow back mechanism is on.

This blowback system is different. Some of the air from the cylinder pushes it back, its not two hook connected to the cylinder...

I want to know if the blowback systems that are integrated to the gearbox effect the performance of the gun / compression, I mean if some of the air goes through the tube to blowback the fake-bolt, does it effect how much air is pushed out for the BB to be propelled?
