This is not actually funny - it promotes an atmosphere of abuse and violence, and I hope Apple remove the app from the store. Considering some of the apps that they HAVE removed, it seems odd that this one slipped through the net.

Cartoon or not, this sends a very bad message to people, particularly the very young or the very stupid, that it is ok to abuse an animal. The kitty has no feelings, right? Makes it that much easier for someone to make the leap from a cartoon character to a real animal. What the HELL was Apple thinking?

Tell me why it needs the cat to be bashed like that? Who does that to cats in real life? We all feed and pet them but do you hit them like that?

This is targeted deliberately toward cats. The inventor obviously has an acute distaste for the little critters. He could have used any other symbolic creature...one that did not resemble a cat.

I am glad that this has caught the public's attention and hope that we do more to stop this kind of idiotic business in the future. Let's become humans and stop being primitive savages!
