@Frederberg You might be right but I think an artist always has to keep changing. I think Yann must have felt that it was time for him to move on from his soundtrack days to something new, even if that's not what a lot of his fans want. Like maybe he reached the pinnacle of that genre (a genre of his own) and felt that to do more of the same would take away from his previous successes.
I love the way how you can tell they're so involved in their music.
