What I'm referring to is the long pauses and single word responses. She could end a lot of the discomfort of such an interview by simply speaking openly and honestly, but she intentionally delays and revels in it to titillate her audience.

She bounces a flirtation off Letterman that makes for great TV. Jan knows what she's doing. In this interview, Super Bowl and the MJ trial are not what she wants to discuss so she's shut down.
