That guy on the guitar is damn good, Jan was irreplaceable - but I gotta say he comes pretty f***ing close to doing it :)..son plays bass lol, he hates being noticed
Oh Joy!! Jan who?!!!! Niels pays homage to Jan...but takes it further..great tone, great feel and beautiful harmonic awareness, he adds to the ongoing legacy of this wonderful brainchild of Thijs van Leer!
I donno the new guitarists are pretty good really. There still a good live band as well i went to see them a couple of nights ago on their current u.k. tour and they were really good live. I have about 5 or 6 videos of their recent performance on my channel if your interested.
Amazing live band im looking forward to seeing them live in preston in a couple of months, saw them in manchester about 3 years ago on the new skin tour they were amazing live.

Along with Gentle Giant probably the most well known "lesser known" prog band at least here in the US.

No me gusta, parece tocada de vecindad, como ha decaido focus, prefiero al FOCUS de los años 70´s, mis condolencias para ellos.

A good song, but this version is aweful after listening to Akerman play...he was the heart of this song.

Totally agree. Akkerman makes this guy sound like a beginner, even though he's good.

@ivarus75 Good God, Amen to that!...Jan Akkerman would make ANY guitar player sound like a beginner.

Thijs positively encourages clapping!

I hate clapping as an audience participation activity

Me too, especially cause a lot of people can't withstand a simple fucking rythm, so it get's all messy. :(

@deepindercheema Very true...it's the same as when the artist gets the audience to sing along with the words...to me, it's an easy cop out.

why isn't the crowd cheering when they recognize that the song is sylvia?
