@ahmedp800 i love the ds castlevanias and was so hyped for this release i actually got it imported from the US as the UK release was way to long to wait but i was kinda disappointing with this one i think i didn't like the fact it wasn't all in one big castle. still im not hating and i will buy any other future castlevania release i think im going to dig out Portrait of ruin but i should really play through Symothony OTN first as i bought it for ps1 over a year ago and aint played it yet lol

Currently im planning to play the PS2 version, Curse of Darkness :-)

I really like the look and sound of this game, but gameplay wise I unfortunately found it one of the less satisfying castletroids.

Aria of Sorrow (not Dawn, because of that annoying Boss Seal thing.) and Portrait of Ruin are my favourite Castletroids.

Obviously props for Symphony of the Night to of course mind you. (The original and still compares very well to the newer ones.) And I do like Circle of the Moon as well.

Ecclesia was a little better then Harmony of Dissonance, but ultimately it just wasn't as much fun to me as many of the other Castletroids. So I'd hope if there are future ones they go back more to the old system.

This intro--and the art style they used for Order of Ecclesia in general, really--really strikes me as what Castlevania should look and feel like. Over nine thousand times better than the stereotypical anime style they went with in Dawn of Sorrow and Portrait of Ruin, in my humblest opinion.

This is the only new Castlevania since the Super Castlevania 4 that I've enjoyed more than SC4.

For the simple reason; it was new and refreshing. All the other Castlevania games have a Simon Belmont/Richter (spelling?) rip-off and some sort of a spell-caster.

I loved the whole Glyph thing. It was pretty new.

Although I didn't play all the Castlevania games though...I have yet to play Dawn of Sorrow.

@XAytherxRedictusX Juste from HoD was pretty frickin' awesome. He was a vampire hunter/spellcaster hybrid who basically used a series of spellbooks to run rape all over all of the bosses. Easily one of my favorite boss rush modes in a Castlevania game. Very unappreciated Belmont, probably also one of the strongest. He could equip Alucard's Twilight Cloak and these funky boots and fly all over the screen, that shit was crazy.

Soma's soul collection ability was cool too.

@professionalpoliwag I thought DoS was okay. I loved that Soma turned evil and Alucard, Yoko and Julius had to beat his ass. The final fight was hard!!! But it was worth it to hear Soma/Dracula's evil laugh. Then seeing the trio watch the castle crumble was awesome. I can't wait for the next game in the storyline to see if they follow up on evil Soma.

Order of Eccesia Really brought new life to the franchise by combining the jump inside the castle and kill dracula thing (made popular by Symphony of the Night) with the older castlevanias "stages" (Think Simon Belmont) and then a mini Castle at the end of the game. Awesome idea and i hope the next game does the same
