@freelife57199 No. Indie music = Independent/not signed. Almost every band you all listen to is NOT indie but rather just "under-appreciated" or "unknown". Most of these bands start their own labels or join very little ones. "Indie" bands may not edit their music as much cause they dont have the money to spend all day in the recording studio trying to get things right. The White Stripes hardly edited anything to save money and sounded great for their first album.
