its shitty in port lucaya, we stayed at the island palms resort and it was worse...stay at the sheraton or t he westin... and the only thing to do is go to the beach ...that gets tiresome after day 3

@Britishdave09 Are you sure about that? I was just there in December 2009 and everything was up and running. Wasn't run down at all. It may have been closed down temporarily due to hurricane damage...

This is a cool hotel to stay at the ocean is across the street about 4 minute walk I stayed there in 99 and 2002..If I go back I would stay there again.

the people were friendly, also you can catch a taxie go downtown.

Well, i just came back from the bahamas and i stayed there.

The hotel is like the guy says, pretty simple but clean.

I gotta say that i was disapointed when i saw everything close by 2 am.

So if you're looking for clubs and 24/7 parties go to nassau. " THAT'S WHAT THEY TOLD ME HEHE".

And yes, almost forgot. Don't go to the club called TOPICANA. Unles you have a .40 caliber with you okay lol... Me and my friends wasted 50 buck with the taxi and almost got robbed...
