Looks like a fake security trojan. I had one called Antivirus Soft. I had to do a restart, start, all programs, accessories, system tools, system restore, and I restored to the day before. It worked.

I then got the free version of malewarebytes. I've never tried avast or avg.

hey, my problem is my MS windows xp SP2 slow down just after I've connect to internet for the very first time using an external WiMax modem, I've tried every thing from Norton anti virus, spy bot and registry cleaner, i even tried tune up software but the problem persist,, I regularly defragment my HD but still my windows log on and start up is very slow, my machine is P4 2.26Ghz, with 256 RAM. any solution

@xherii Uninstall all of that software that you have used to try and speed up your pc, get rid of norton and any other heavy anti virus program. You barely have enough memory to run XP with just 256mb and when you add anything else to it you are going to be slow. You need a min. of 512mb but I recommend 1GB of memory. Also watch my video on (msconfig) it will help speed you up.

recently i downloaded i file which i thaught was safe, i watched the coments on youtube which they said it was a virus, i deleted te files, now when i came up from tv it said it spotted 4 trojans, i put them in my chest healed em and deleted them, with avg free, i made a computer scan, it said they were still left but no harm, i wasnt sure so i gone in to the folder and did everything u did, i didnot find the 4 trojans, well it said in avg that they where left, but no harm, are they no harm?

they might be no harm but I would try doing a system restore back to the day before you downloaded the files, that should help.

right click on my computer and choose properties, then click on the system tab and turn off system restore, then after you restart you can turn it back on.

This is what you do to manually delete it. You need to scan your computer and make a note of the trojan file. Then reboot and go to safe mode by pressing F8 just keep pressing it until you see it. Go to start and run "regit" then when you see it delete it and remeber you need to turn of your system restore after that when you delete it then reboot and turn back on system restore =].

goto Start>Run> type in (sfc /scannow) it will search for a replace bad files.
