  • You sir, are a bit of a tool.

  • Lol i have a diffrent noise with my vaio! Its an Intel core i5 and i7 fan issue thing! Lol no damage, Its NORMAL! Trust me :)

  • @bilalbarek The replacement MacBook Pro solved this. It's definitely not normal. ;-)

  • @EvPoMiCom : You are absolutely correct. A loud fan noise is NOT "normal." It needs to be replaced, or it might be dust build-up (the case for mine). I'm looking for specific instructions as to how to clean out the dust. Anyone know how? It's out of warranty and too expensive for me to pay Apple to fix it. CatherineTodd2 at gmail dot com. Thanks!

  • HMM I WONDER?!?!?!?! MABE ITS BECAUSE YOUR SWINGING IT AROUND LiKE iTS ON A ROLICOSTER

  • @Technoreviews411: Rocking the laptop back and forth is not damaging it or mistreating it. It's trying to find out where the noise originate. Electronics are engineered to withstand some movement and are designed and tested for stress. A cheap piece of junk might not withstand movement, but this is a $2,000.00+ Mac laptop . This is not abusing it. Think about the movement a laptop goes through when it's in a backpack or laptop carrying case and moved around. Not much different.

  • And I wonder why the hell are you swinging it around as if it were a lightsaber or something ??

  • i have that problem to but mine is more quiet
