  • He was gay

  • David is a musical poetry genious

  • THIS SONG IS BOSS! HOLY SHIT

  • @MrRherron When did this play in the Devils Rejects? I don't remember this song being in it

  • i believe this was the first song i ever liked...i was a young pup back in '73 though. This song is still cool even now. whatever happened to David Essex? it's like he disappeared off the globe...guess i'm off to wiki to find out...peace

  • @jimmypage444 Isn't that true? He made this fantastic album and you never heard much of anything about him. Maybe you can find something on Wikopedia, I'm going to look.

  • @jimmypage444 This was the first song I ever liked, too. It was also the first album I ever got my parents to buy for me. I liked it so much. When he came to the U.S. to go on tour, I was too young to go but I caught him on every TV show he was on (things like Supersonic, Wonderama, Sonny and Cher). He was doing a musical some years back in London so I think he's still around.

  • wow 3 percent hate this!?!?!????that 3 must be retarded

  • @magikoolz nah just deaf.

  • Very handsome man.

  • There are 3 people that are UN-AMERICAN and there are 146 people who are american

  • @Brettgod1355: Uh, how do you figure? He's English. Maybe the thumbs-ups are from our British friends, and the thumbs-down are from our less-than-genius countrymen, like, for example, people who don't know who David Essex is.

  • He's aged well...irrefutable proof we're all moving towards a greater state of Peter Gabrielness...

  • He almost took out the blond chick with the mic stand.

  • essexy

  • SEXY !!

  • Luscious David Essex!

  • I tagged along on my sister's senior trip to Disneyland and a friend took footage of us on Main Street and added this song; BJBQs for sure.

  • sexy!! love this song:P

  • Considering it was recorded in 1973. It was IMHO the best produced single up to that time. The production and engineering values of the studio version were way ahead of their time.

    Rock-On!

  • 70's music....the best decade.....hard and soft rock, pop, soul, rhythm and blues...heck, even some disco tunes are much much better than the caca of Lady Gaca and alike.....disposable idols the kids are poisoned with. Very very few real artists out there.

  • @MeanrBeanr i think its the music industry's obsession with re creating the success they had with such great artists. so hey just fling anyone out there with vocal chords,

  • @aleAlEsSaNdRol I don't think so. Too many people out there that are alot better than him. I am not putting him down. This song has been around along time and is used in movies alot. But, I think this song rocks and will be still be around for a long time.

  • I have always LOVED this song! it's sexy as hell!

  • Rock on!!! This song rocks much like him!

  • Love this song. Thanks for posting it. Also, in my opinion, from the side view, David Essex kinda looks like Sylvester Stylone (Rambo) lol which isnt a bad thing.

  • @hellokitty75482 You're welcome =)

  • @hellokitty75482
