oh snap did she just knock the keeper over...lol from 4:33 . OH MY God these keepers are amazing . God bless them. this is not easy at all. My goodness
I hope this little beauty pulled through and is thriving. Many orphaned baby elephants, even on the rare occasion of human intervention, do not survive. Huge numbers of adult elephants are illegally poached and the calves soon die in the wild, or are caged by villagers who have no knowledge of caring for these highly intelligent and social beasts; the calves almost always die. This scenario is common for infant gorillas as well. God bless the people who help these animals.
@yummieyummie123 One of the founders is a woman. It's just that they live in an area where women generally do housework stuff and men generally go out and work for money. Just a culture thing. Thanks to Kiva women in Africa who've been wanting to own their own businesses in Africa are doing well.
Like a human baby pushing someone by hand, she pushes the other elephant's trunk away! Cute.

Unfortunately this is not a job for females. The keepers walk hours and hours in the bush witht he babies to help familiarize them with the land.

They have their reasons at the trust - and that was one of them. there are no women working there except the founders.
