um.. you now what, sometimes I dont get it.. why, in USA, they always invite artists to sing national anthem? why dont u guys sing the song all together???
lauren & amy complete you guys. i dont think you guys could do much without all 5 of you guys because lauren with her high notes and amy with her strong vocals its perfection. but you guys were okay-
well this was in 2008, lauren was only ten and maybe amy didnt want too, there could be multiple reasons! amy could have been away at a singing compotition for all we know .
I want to commend you ladies not only on the vocal quality of your presentation of our National Anthem, but also on the respect for it which was evident in your arrangement -- none of the self-serving histrionics that many singers throw into it these days! The audience was actually *listening*, too, as evidenced by the fact that they didn't drown you out with cheering at the end as so many other singers of our National Anthem have had happen at sports events. Good for you!! :-D
