  • i can do motion tracking and add 3d text to videos but how the fuck do you make the cool 3d object morph like that? its sick!

  • Wow, my cat would have freaked out if he saw that, but yours is like "meh, another day another weird star thing moving around" lol

  • just amazing!

  • thats amazin

  • so what did you need After Effects for? Can't Cinema 4D handle it all?

  • @cenzi6 Cinema 4D can do this you don't need AE. I think AE is for makeing it better

  • is that 3Ds Max?

  • can this be done by 3ds max

  • this is commercial quality very well done!

  • what Program did you use to make that?

welk programma heb je gebruikt om te zorgen dat?

  • Comment removed

  • Cats like "What? I don't see random 3D lines on my counter!"

  • nice man, the lighting is really good :D

  • looks real!! what prgrams did you use?

  • @rogerschalk what program was this?

  • Looks great!

  • What's the cat's name?

  • Excellent!

  • wow awesome!

  • tutoriall pllzzzzzz

  • wow, great render with a great track

  • question? did you just render the shadow of the objects ? ( not the plane where is projected ) is that posible ?

  • nice one...

  • can i make this with cinema 4d ?

  • make a tut m8 ?

  • What camera did you use? I wish I had a camera of that quality... Mine's awful! The match moving quality really takes a hit from my low frames per second video camera! It only has 12 frames per second... But I've still been able to produce decent results.

  • Impressive, just one question. How did you add the shadows? they give a great realistic effect.

  • @Mibok i second! I really want to know how to do such shadows like that!

  • Also camera tracking can be "2d" with a fixed camera or 3d with a moving camera. The former gives a curved planar point cloud, the latter a 3d cloud. The former is easier to get good results with small movements.

  • No. For a good example of motion tracking, there's a video somewhere of a fellow with stuff happening on his T shirt as he's walking. Done with Icarus. Voodoo only does camera tracking, as you have done.

  • Amazing!!!

  • Camera tracking, not motion tracking !

  • @sydneydoc it's called 3D Motion Tracking

  • @PKilmaster

All you are doing in tracking the motion of the camera. The objects are static. Camera tracking !

  • @sydneydoc that's logic, but the name for tracking camera = 3D Motion tracking afaik =)

  • @PKilmaster

Did you use Voodoo ? Have a look at their web site ... camera tracking !

You can call it what you like of course but most people call it camera tracking.

  • @sydneydoc hmmm afaik X & Y axis tracking is Motion Tracking and XYZ tracking is 3D Motion tracking, correct me if im wrong :/

  • sweet hotwheels track

  • Program used?

  • good lighting

  • Amazing!! dude you did a great job!

  • WHAT PROGRAM ARE YOU USING ?

  • @rogerschalk IS it in adobe after effects any of this possible (even 2d tracking?)

  • perfect

  • wOULDNT IT BE BETTER IF PEOPLE PUT THE SOFTWARE THEY USED INTO THE DESCRIPTION. LATER ON HE SAYS ' Thanks! I used PF track, which is the best tracking software out there! After Pf track i used cinema4d voor de shadows and 3d elements. I tryed everything, synth eyes, boujou, matchmover and finally PF track. I was blown away!'

  • ótimo

  • oh, thats pretty cool : D

  • what program?

  • kity!

  • you dont need a tutorial for this its easy

  • thats a cute cat of yours :)

  • 3ds Max ;D ?

  • Comment removed

  • WOW! LOOKS GREAT AND REALLY REALISTIC!

  • wow m8 amazing 5*

  • Dude seriously, please do a tutorial! :L

  • SO AMAZING

  • you should do a one with some one sleepin ant then it raps them up!

  • @dsnchalas

Foundry launched a new plugin for aftereffects, it's called CameraTracker for 3D tracking

    Check it out it's sweet.

    :)

  • Amazing work!

  • so is this only possible in mocha or maya, what about shake 4?

  • @WOW...Fail AE renders 3D tracking too

  • hey what programs what i am trying to do is use 4d cinema and bring it into after effects but i dont know how does anyone know please tell

  • This CAN be done with AE CS4 and CS5

  • THANK YOU! HELPED MAKE MY NEWEST VIDEO!

just-uploaded-a--new-INTERNATIONAL--BACCALAUREATE--RAP--VIDEO!!! ... for CAS hours.. check it out!! It's awesome. used after effects!

  • Nice job. Can also be done with Blender and Icarus.

  • what program did you use?

  • nicee

  • is this possible with apple Shake ???

  • did you use blender?

  • @dsnchalas No way, if your good at after effects, upgrade to 3ds Max or Maya

  • freaking amazing!

  • PRO!,

    love the shades

  • Awesome!!!

    What program did you use?

  • Very good lighting.

  • this is my favorite 3D motion tracking video!

  • can you make a tourtol how to do this plzz

  • 3d motion tracking

  • that was cool

  • @dsnchalas well you can manipulate 3d tracking and do 4 point perspective tracking which is the closest you will get to 3d tracking

  • Superb Job - What application did you use ??

  • this is camera tracking

  • did u use loft for the lines? u could have created 2 planes for casting shadows. Nice job anyway

  • Nice, looks real, is it 3d max?

  • Truly amazing. Good job.

  • @rogerschalk is this possible with motion 4?

  • cool !!

  • @dsnchalas yup... um.. That's I think the only thing it's possible with... But you need 3dsMAX also

  • Awesome dude

  • lighting was good! good job!

  • Wow. I'm one of these who can never be bothered to voice my opinion in a comment A) because I think 'what's the point' and B) because My mother told me that if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all...

But wow. solid track, nice render, love the shadows on the table.

How did you create that effect? was it a custom particle emitted along a path?

  • or maybe a star shaped face which is then being extruded along a spline?

  • EPIC MAN< WOW

  • Really awsome!

  • Nice!

  • i would like to see a tutorial :D

  • @eljaimillo: It's not that i don't want to, but still haven't had time

to finish it. I'm sorry. But thanks everyone for the nice comments!

  • @rogerschalk GOTTEN AROUND TO MAKING A TUTORIAL CAUSE THIS WAS AWESOME, DID YOU MAKE THE ANIMATION WHILE HAVING THE bg AS THE FOOTAGE OR DID YOU IMAGINE WHERE IT WAS MAKING THE 3D ANIMATION SEPERATLEY AND ADDING AFTERWARDS??

    rEALLY GREAT, TUT SOON?? :D

  • @eljaimillo me too!

  • that's great. I mean, I've seen some good ones, but WOW.

    That's friggin awesome. 100/5

    Also, is PFTrack free?

  • @TheFXGuy: No it's not, everything but :-)

  • Boujuo :-)

  • @CrASYmUZIk : No: PFTrack and c4d

  • oh ok

  • holy hell!

  • how did you light that?

  • what software did you used? so cute blue star-lines.

  • looks so real lol :p

  • it is not slice, how did u make lofts animated

  • nice nice!

  • Sweet. The lighting was spot on. 5/5

  • look its mr meow meow lickin' himself

  • thats so weird! in a good way

  • woah thaaaats soooo cool

  • tutorial please :) rated 5/5

  • By accident i clicked on thumbs down...:-(. I'm sorry!

How do i change this? Thank you for you're rating.

  • is ok :-)

  • What program did you use for this? C4D?

  • is there a way to do the do motion tracking in sony vegas?

  • I actually bought PFTrack because of this video! Thanks for making it worth it! (: D)

  • It will be worth it! thanks!

  • It's split into different layers, the kitchen is in two layers, where 3d goes behind, the 3d is also in 2 layers, arranged in such way to get the effect, aint hard.

  • Simple masking actually.

  • :-), No it wasn't actually. In PFTrack you can add a primitive.

So the table is 2 primitives which stick perfectly onto the footage. In C4d (or any other 3d software) the primitives have the footage as texture with flat mapping. So the "stars" go behind these primitives. I hope this helps

  • how dose he get the animation behind objects?
