I was looking something up in the dictionary and accidentally came across Jeepers which had in brackets creepers.  And the definition said Jeepers (creepers) was slang expressing surprise for Jesus Christ. I'm thinking proabably slang prior to the Great Depression, just thought it was interesting. Just a bit of unusual fyi.
