  • I got accepted to this school for Fall 2012. I'm debating which college to go to though.

  • btw, Draime Ext. was redone about 10 years ago. It is not a special dorm, it's just a dorm.

  • @singingislife18 Well first, it was CERTAINLY A SPECIAL PLACE when we were there. If it was "just a dorm" I wouldn't have cared much at all. When we were there (late 80s) Draime ext was this "specialty house" as they called it, called Draime House. We did programs and had fun that many of the other buildings didn't have. WE made it special. The building served as our place to do so. We gave it an identity that in those days, many of the other dorms, did not possess.

  • @singingislife18 As for how did I get in? SIMPLE!! Draime is now used as a buidling to put up summer visitors, and I was there last summer for alumni weekend. That was where they had me stay, on the same floor that I lived in the late 80s, early 90s.

  • Also, how did you get into the building that room?

  • Draime Ext. is my old building! I lived there last year on the 2nd floor!

  • hey migueltio how was it any tips for a latino

  • @ericlol99 Are you going to be starting there this fall? When I was there (the late 80s into the early 90s) there were SOME Latinos there. They started a Latino students organization called H.U.P.P. (Hispanos Unidos Para Progresar), but I can't say then that it got to far off the ground. Lets face it, the idea of Latinos being mainstream people outside of the big cities, was not as present then as it is today. In the mid to late 90s came the Crane Latin Ensemble. Its probably better now.
