AK-47 as the best rifle? Hell no. If you mean cheap, reliable, and easy to get a hold of in mass quantity, then yes. But if you got the douche to drop there are plenty of better rifles out there then the AK-47. And #2 M16? Are you kidding me? Screw the M16 and M4. Thank god they at least put the M14 on this video. The Mauser K98 is a great rifles too! That's one thing I agree with Hitler on hahaha
I've shot Ak-47's before and their very powerful and effective. As far as accuracy and range they fail, in todays warfare firefights are sometimes 1000M+ apart. Especially in Afghanistan. I'll choose range and accuracy over power and a little more reliable then the average rifle ANY day. It only takes 1 round to kill a man, no matter how big the caliber if you hit them in the right area.
So you'd go down in caliber? One of the things that makes the Ak-47 rifle so great is it's 7.62 X 39 rounds that it can fire. Much more effective then the 556 nato that were using in the Army. I'd keep the same caliber but a machines receiver would be nice. I prefer a stamped receiver if I were to buy a AK. But that's just talkin AK47s. The AK47 will go down in history as one of the best rifles, but today there are just so many better rifles out there.
@MyCleverSN yes i would go down in caliber, like you said its where you hit that is more important, but it is the reliability of the gun to me that is important, so maybe in terms of both a piston instead of a direct gas impingement ar15 like an lwrc would be the way to go, or a ruger sr556

The more weapons I get a chance to shoot and own I try to learn. Some designs are slightly better then others ( I can't stand piston driven ar/m4 variants) over all they all accomplish the same thing and serve there purpose effectively.
Shit they don't even "dimple" the receivers on most of the wasr10s. That dimple helps hold the mag steady and adds a little to feeding reliability. Not to mention bad feed ramps that won't reliably feed HP rounds. I don't know if you own one or seen one at a store of you own it I hope you got a rare perfect one I u don't steer clear there are better ones out there.
@loadedClownZ the wasr-10 is a bottom barrel ak variant and you have no idea what your talking about. I can't tell you the number of wasr-10 I've had to fix with bad magwell jobs, canted front sights along with various other fuck ups. They completely left out the Browning Automatic Rifle. One of the most feared rifles on the battle field in it's day. Even Clyde Barrow swore by it. ;)

@WALTERBROADDUS I dont know have you ever shoot from an AK-47, but i have, not too much but enough to say that AK 47 is not that good. Its homemade ax, dammit :) And it is most used rifle cuz of its very cheap.
@ThePunisher1693 Look the rifle has lasted because it does its job well. It is a soldiers weapon, not a rifle range gun. It's simple, robust, & deadly.
If by chance anyone reading this is hiding a REAL (fully automatic) AK-47 somewhere in their homes, given current circumstances, I wouldn't hold it against you.
AK 47? Really? Thats bullshit. The AK is reliable and durable but is innacurate as a blind man in a pissing contest. The F88 Styer is ten times better rifle than the AK. It should have been number 10 no way number 1. Its a poor mans army rifle. A rifle that can be barried, recoverd years later and still fire. That still doesn't make up for its innacuracy though.
@MrMapex2010 As if accuracy is the only thing that matters when considering the best assault rifle in the world. :D Besides it's quite accurate enough, unless you are a terrible shot of course. If it was as inaccurate as you claim, it wouldn't be the most popular and widely copied assault rifle in the world. Cheap to manufacture, easy to use and maintain, reliable and powerful. What's not to like?
@VICITVIR For close quater range its great, but the minute you go out to 150 yards and beyond its not what I would want to trust my life with. It is a great rifle hence the reason its past the test of time, but if I had to trust my life to one rifle it wouldn't be the AK.
They didn't mention the HK G36. Maybe because you simply can't compare it with the stoneage AK-47 or the good-for-nothing M16. A slick design, high precision, outstanding reliability, self-cleaning barrel ... it's the best weapon in the world.
@MrDip02 measured on what? Most Russians are indeed nicer and better then most Americans from what I have experienced, now that might not always have been so of course.
@000000AEA000000 oh and i was referring to ww2 not every day today Russians i know back then they were nice not saying they were complete diffrent but no one is always the "good" guy when it comes to war
@000000AEA000000 oh no i was basically saying some were still nice back then not ALL russians were terrible i just did not want to sound like i though ALL russians were terrible people
@m14Lover308 LOL ...idk whether the things you heard about marines are from movies or from marines themselves or from whatever source ...all i can say is just that delusional and ignorant...
@MrKasperabhay aha, thank you. I am in no way doubting their prowess as warriors, and m14lover308 clearly sees it as he carries himself and unit with such magnanimosity, but half of the kids on here that think they're marines really do over gun the portrayal of the corps in video games and movies.
@BassDudeBear actually its not their fault dude Many Americans are raised under the assumption that their fighting men are better trained, better equipped, better led and drawn from a better selection of recruits than anyone else in the world....even their movies pose a marine as an ultimate indestructible soldier..just ignore them coz they are unaware and ignorant ppl..
@yamachicken I'm afraid I'd have to disagree. Hundreds of years before the AK, blades and pointed objects killed nations of people, and thousands of years before that, there were blunt objects being used to cave in skulls, shatter femurs, and murder one's brother (Cain and Abel). And those are still those in use today. The kalish is indeed the icon of the assault rifle, but by no means can it be called the most deadly weapon 'in the history of the world.'
@RemnantSurvivalist Dude... It's a pretty well-known "almost fact" that the AK and AK style weapons (rpk, Ak74, AKS, ect ect) have dealt more death than any other style of weapon.
@yamachicken and also if you think about it, the bloodiest part of the last 100 years were WW1/WW2 both of which didn't include the AK.
Sure the AK is lethal, but it's no more lethal than any other weapon in trained hands. What sets it apart is the fact that anyone with a brain can get hold of one (unless you live in the UK!) and use it "effectively".
It sucks it's so reliable and no one's been able to come up with a more reliable weapon that can go through the hell an ak-47 can and still fire. It is exceedingly good at what it does in close to medium range engagements.
@USAmilitarypower Yes,but don't need very accurate machine rifle. Avtomat must spread bullets , to cover or attack with his fire power. If you need an accurate rifle, take SVD.
The myth the AK47 or AK74 is not accurate is totally not turn. AK's range is less than 100meters.Most fire fights are less than 100m. But the point is Both weapons are the best. If you want accuracy go with AR15. PERIOD
@vandenabeeleandries um. it is the U.S. military's number one rifle now. even the AK jammed when it was still a new design. plus, who cares about back then. the M-16 is best now
Gun making has really changed. It used to be about killing the enemy, and making it easy. Now it's all about making it lighter and having low recoil. Old guns like the M14 and AK-47 are far better. Sure they may be a bit heavier and a bit harder to control, but I'd much rather have a reliable and powerful weapon on my side rather than a weak plastic rifle.
"The rifle that has seen the American GI through Vietnam and into the 21st century." - Yeah, if it didn't jam up as it usually would. Why the M16 was placed as Nr. 2 here will always elude me.
@WrightyArts ummm you'r fucking retarded it's powerful and is one of the MOST reliable guns out there and if it's shit why does most of the military use it?
@MrDip02 They use it because it's a cheap piece of crap and it's really inaccurate. I'd rather have a accurate, efficient rifle like the M4/SA80 than a piece of crap made of wood.
@WrightyArts cheap piece of crap hah yes it's cheap i know that for a fact but it beets all fucking rifles out there mostly because it's cheap powerful and reliable and wood can take more damage than than any other materials used for fire arms and if you nick it just and a glass and they look alot better than fucking pure black ak-47 has been the best for 60 years and it will keep going haha good like trying to injure someone wearing a bullet proof armor using a 5.56mm
@MrDip02 The AK47 more close to being a machine gun than a rifle, that's why it shoots 7.62mm. I'd rather have accuracy over power any day of the year.
@taylorc9487 I don't own a console, so there goes your comeback out the window. Where as you have a call of duty, doesn't matter if it's an old one or not. Also, anybody who types caps is clearly mad as fuck.
@WrightyArts You dumbass do you realize the AK47 was made in the 40s and still beats most modern asault rifles this list is near perfect it was in service for 64 years and is still used by nearly every country on earth in some way you probably just dont like it on cod or some shit and dont realize the legacy and inspiration of the AK47 if it wasnt for the AK47 and STG44 we wouldnt have any of the shity ARs or other rifles in service and the only reason the AK beats the STG is its service length.
@WrightyArts no in fact the strongest thing about ak47 is that you can combine parts produced from different countries and still working damn good and better still there is no bullet jam, unlike M16
almost all documentaries about rifles put ak47 on the top of the list
if you can, name a better one, coz the only one i can think of is the ray gun in CallOfDuty, which is given by aliens from the outer space!
@WrightyArts thanks for the sharing it's a good clip
i agree that M16 is way more accurate than AK47 as it is made to be accurate
the main problem is that it jams bullets
it fires 3 at a time, and usually start jamming after the 2-3 shots
and so US WWII soldiers described M16 as "nightmare on battlefield"
besides, 200 yards is just too much distance for assault rifles when you use them in real, M16 is good, but it is just too good. At least that is what i think.
@theodorehui Im afraid you got some of your information wrong my friend. the M16 only jams easily when its in harsh conditions. And the M16 didnt hit service until right before the vietnam war. WWII never saw the M16. And the M16 doesnt always shoot "triple" shot. It's a mode you can switch to when you want to use your ammo wisely. It also shoots in the semi-auto and automatic modes. And 200 yards isn't too hard for modern assault rifles, because they are designed to reach atleast 500+ yards.
@theodorehui Actually, the strongest thing about the ak is it's reliability and simplicity. When it comes down to it, the ak is the simplest weapon system out there which provides untrained persons the ability to learn how to operate it in minutes. And since the design is so simple and reliable, maintaining the gun is easy as hell. Plus it will NEVER jam. But when it comes to terms of firepower and accuracy, theres plenty of rifles that has the ak beat.
@TriviumFan15 oh right it is not WWII it is vietnam my bad
coz just according to my memory (from documentaries), mud and dirt would easily get inside the M16 and causing a jam. i m certain that the soldier "nightmare" thing is correct.
but you are so damn right here, i couldn't agree more. so i still appreciate the designer of ak47 he's still a genius. may i ask, in your opinion, which one should be no.1 and why??
@theodorehui Yes, you're absolutely right about the soldiers nightmare. And you're right about the mud and dirt jamming the weapon. But the most common nickname for it was either Jamming Jenny or Jamming Ginny. I personally think the ak deserves it's no. 1 spot. In war, reliability and simplicity has proven to be superior to space age design and over-rated technology. In the hands of a trained markmen, the ak is the deadliest weapon a man can hold in my opinion. What gun do you prefer?
@theodorehui Well if you like the M16, then you'll have to check out its AR-15 counterpart. It uses the same rounds as the M16 (5.56 mm), but they are usually seen with higher grade metal and plastic parts reducing the chance of jamming. The AR-15 is pretty much the next step towards making the M16 weapon system more superior in this world. And honestly, it is my personal favorite gun of all next to the M14 and .308 winchester.
@TriviumFan15 Your a idiot. the M16 is the AR-15 except the M16 is militarized by the fact it is the service rifle, higher grade metal or plastic parts doesn't make a gun less jamming. It's the mechanism that jams or not as much. And M16 more superior? No matter what they do to it the AK-47 would always make it more reliable unless the Americans decide to put the AK system in. lmao
@FPSrUSSRia See how I said its "pretty much" the next step? The AR was created in an attempt to make the M16 firing system more reliable. The AR uses the same system as the M16, just with more modern materials and more durable plastics. If it's not the next step while it uses an M16 firing system and isnt called an M16-A2, then what is it? Plus the AR has made the M16 system more reliable, it is a proven fact. It just costs more which is why the American military isnt serviced with AR's.
@MrDip02 reliability isn't important anymore. every gun coming out now is loosening its parts to make them just as reliable. And when I mean old design, I mean the whole gun. And the kar98k statement is rather pointless because its based off of the first bolt action, so you could say every bolt action rifle came from that one.
@Blu0tuth0ninja ummm not all guns now are as reliable and durable as the ak-47 and how is that statement pointless the mausers bolt action is the best out there of course they would use it would you rather have a bolt design of the mosin nagant or mauser?
@MrDip02 Anything that comes out now is reliable enough to keep you alive. You don't need indestructability for a gun. And I already explained the bolt action issue. The kar98k is not the first bolt action, which means it was based off of the ones before it. That being said, any rifle based off the kar98k was also based off the first bolt action. So really, the first bolt action is the one all others after it are based off of.
those ak's shoot the 7.62x39 thats kinds small but it makes me want an sks even more. I got to shoot my friends dads sks the other day it was fucking amazing! funnest gun to shoot ever.
The AK-47 is the best assault rifle of all time. Why do you think the Russians have stuck with it for so long whilst only making minor changes? And @ROBDOGG97 is right. They took the ammo from the M16 but they never took the gun itself
Just do you know, the Russian military only used the ak-47 as their official assault rifle for 15 years until 1974, when it was replaced due to it's severe weakness in certain areas. They also never took the m16 ammunition, 5.45 is a completely different round with completely different ballistics. The changes over the years to the basic AK are at least as drastic as the changes to the m16 over the years.
Don't spout 'facts' about things you can't take 10 mins to read about.
@ANTONYTHEBHOY The US has used the M16 and the modified versions for MUCH longer due to the design being innately superior for military use. Russia does not even use the round that the ak47 used anymore, due to it being inferior(not just on accuracy but weight and production of it as well). They are actually selling off their stockpiles of that ammunition as surplus to civilian shooters around the world. Also Russia is in the process of completely phasing out the AK design. Also why swear at me?
@poplug The Russians are making the AK-200 which is a modified AK-47 so this whole bullshit about them getting rid of the design is utter shite. And i swear at you cause your a tool
I was only trying to tell you about the actual gun, but instead you're just going to continue saying 'AK47 IS BEST IN EVERYWAY CUZ I SAY IT IS' without actually knowing about it, and the ak-200 is a completely renovated design, hardly related to the original ak-47. Anyway I'm done speaking with a retarded little kid incapable of civil conversation.
It's funny how you'll never get to shoot an AK47 until you move out of your country who's public education clearly failed you.
@poplug How can you even say that? There's hardly any information out there regarding the AK-200. Judging by the pictures, the receiver and other features highly indicate that it's still a Kalashikov.
@poplug Well for 1 Britain has one of the best public school systems in the world for 2 the fact i'm British pretty much states i will never fire an AK-47 as the British military uses the SA80 as a primary assault rifle so yah and 3rd fuck off cause your annoying me now
@poplug Technically, the Russians never stopped using the 7.62x39. Spetsnaz soldiers can be seen carrying AKM's and AK-103 rifles some times, so they aren't completely useless like you implied. They aren't in the phasing out of the AK, they are updating it.
@poplug The 5.45x39 ballistics are really not that far off from the 5.56x45. Similar velocity, bullet weight, diameter, etc. Drastic? It's relative I guess. The M16 has gotten a heavier barrel, different sighting arrangment, and a heavier grain bullet. Doesn't really sound that drastic to me.
AK-47 may be the most popular but it definitely isn't the most superior. M-16A2 will always be king especially if the military converts it to 6.8mm. Holy shit nothing will touch it.
@FoxDF Do you know anything about the ak-47? The ak is the most reliable, powerful (in terms of weight, versatility, and munition) and feared rifle this world has ever seen. The fact that you need about 30 minutes of training with the weapon to fully operate and maintain the weapon makes it the most universal assault rifle out there. No matter where you go with it, it will work and get the job done. Try going to a jungle, desert, or arctic region with a G36. You'll wish you had an ak.
@TriviumFan15 Nope, i would still prefer the G36, we had one ak47 and one ak74 for demonstrations at or base, fired both of them.
The G36 is lighter, AK47 weights 4,9 kg loaded, G36 weights 4,2 kg loaded, has a better and more constant rate of fire, les recoil, higher accuraccy, higher muzzle velocity, flater bullet path and lighter ammo.
We dragged thes G36s thru mud, water, sand, and a more, they didnt jam.
Only advantage of the Ak47 are the raw impact power, price and availability.
@FoxDF You can't really put the AK and the G36 in together. G36 5.56 AK 7.62 and the G36 is from modern day statistics making and AK post World War 2 made standards. AK more recognized and G36 is less renown. and Only the AK advantage? hell that thing goes thru mud, water, sand, and more too.
the m16 all the f-ing way Discovery Channel dumb asses. if the ak was so great wouldn't the USA use it. and why do all russian machine guns have bad accuracy, ak-47, ak-74, rpk, rpd, rpg. just saying
@ROBDOGG97 What are you a COD Fanboy or something, the M16 was one of the worst because it jammed way to much, same with the M60, the AK-47 was so reliable that you could even put it in mud and water and it still could shoot, wouldn't have to be clean. back in Vietnam, the Vietcong wouldn't even pick up the M16, because they were so unreliable....
@BoracicSumo3 your kidding me, just because i play call of duty means i know nothing about guns. if the m16 jammed so much, would so many people think it was so good that they should use it to base variants off of it, no. the USA uses it and they are still the top military force ever, and they didn't get there by assault rifles that jammed. they got there by a great assault rifle that is highly accurate and can drop a group of enemies at 800 meters. so, whats your next argument for the AK
@ROBDOGG97 umm they don't have THAT bad of accuracy i mean 300 yards accuracy is pretty good and i rather have a less accurate gun that is guaranteed to drop someone with one shot
@MrDip02 it can't hit anything at 300 yards. the history or discovery channel did a test with the m-16 Vs. ak47 using professionals with the weapons ant at 300 yards the M-16 had a kill shot each time and the AK missed the target EACH shot. they both had a full 30 round magazine, so there goes that theory
@ROBDOGG97 you do realized that the cleaner the bore is the more accurate it is they were most likely using one straight out of the box knowing it was not newly manufactured since it's over 30 YEARS OLD they should do they test again when they clean it thoroughly
@MrDip02 they had a bran new one and even showed them cleaning it and the M-16 for maximum performance. no matter what. it cannot compare to the sniper rifle accuracy of the M-16
This is all based off opinion so don't think of this as fact

MrMapex2010 3 months ago
@MrMapex2010 As if accuracy is the only thing that matters when considering the best assault rifle in the world. :D Besides it's quite accurate enough, unless you are a terrible shot of course. If it was as inaccurate as you claim, it wouldn't be the most popular and widely copied assault rifle in the world. Cheap to manufacture, easy to use and maintain, reliable and powerful. What's not to like?
VICITVIR 2 months ago
@VICITVIR For close quater range its great, but the minute you go out to 150 yards and beyond its not what I would want to trust my life with. It is a great rifle hence the reason its past the test of time, but if I had to trust my life to one rifle it wouldn't be the AK.
MrMapex2010 2 months ago
They didn't mention the HK G36. Maybe because you simply can't compare it with the stoneage AK-47 or the good-for-nothing M16. A slick design, high precision, outstanding reliability, self-cleaning barrel ... it's the best weapon in the world.

ak47 style of rifle has killed more human beings than any other weapon in the history of the world.
yamachicken 3 months ago
@yamachicken I'm afraid I'd have to disagree. Hundreds of years before the AK, blades and pointed objects killed nations of people, and thousands of years before that, there were blunt objects being used to cave in skulls, shatter femurs, and murder one's brother (Cain and Abel). And those are still those in use today. The kalish is indeed the icon of the assault rifle, but by no means can it be called the most deadly weapon 'in the history of the world.'
RemnantSurvivalist 3 months ago
@RemnantSurvivalist Dude... It's a pretty well-known "almost fact" that the AK and AK style weapons (rpk, Ak74, AKS, ect ect) have dealt more death than any other style of weapon.

@yamachicken the AK family has been around for 64 years.

BassDudeBear 3 months ago
@BassDudeBear nope you're wrong.
yamachicken 3 months ago
@yamachicken and also if you think about it, the bloodiest part of the last 100 years were WW1/WW2 both of which didn't include the AK.
Sure the AK is lethal, but it's no more lethal than any other weapon in trained hands. What sets it apart is the fact that anyone with a brain can get hold of one (unless you live in the UK!) and use it "effectively".
BassDudeBear 3 months ago
It sucks it's so reliable and no one's been able to come up with a more reliable weapon that can go through the hell an ak-47 can and still fire. It is exceedingly good at what it does in close to medium range engagements.

ROBDOGG97 5 months ago
Gun making has really changed. It used to be about killing the enemy, and making it easy. Now it's all about making it lighter and having low recoil. Old guns like the M14 and AK-47 are far better. Sure they may be a bit heavier and a bit harder to control, but I'd much rather have a reliable and powerful weapon on my side rather than a weak plastic rifle.
scubagamer95 5 months ago
"The rifle that has seen the American GI through Vietnam and into the 21st century." - Yeah, if it didn't jam up as it usually would. Why the M16 was placed as Nr. 2 here will always elude me.

ak 47 lmfao, what a fucking joke
WrightyArts 6 months ago
@WrightyArts ummm you'r fucking retarded it's powerful and is one of the MOST reliable guns out there and if it's shit why does most of the military use it?
MrDip02 5 months ago
@MrDip02 They use it because it's a cheap piece of crap and it's really inaccurate. I'd rather have a accurate, efficient rifle like the M4/SA80 than a piece of crap made of wood.
WrightyArts 5 months ago
@WrightyArts cheap piece of crap hah yes it's cheap i know that for a fact but it beets all fucking rifles out there mostly because it's cheap powerful and reliable and wood can take more damage than than any other materials used for fire arms and if you nick it just and a glass and they look alot better than fucking pure black ak-47 has been the best for 60 years and it will keep going haha good like trying to injure someone wearing a bullet proof armor using a 5.56mm
MrDip02 5 months ago
@MrDip02 The AK47 more close to being a machine gun than a rifle, that's why it shoots 7.62mm. I'd rather have accuracy over power any day of the year.

WrightyArts 5 months ago
@WrightyArts You dumbass do you realize the AK47 was made in the 40s and still beats most modern asault rifles this list is near perfect it was in service for 64 years and is still used by nearly every country on earth in some way you probably just dont like it on cod or some shit and dont realize the legacy and inspiration of the AK47 if it wasnt for the AK47 and STG44 we wouldnt have any of the shity ARs or other rifles in service and the only reason the AK beats the STG is its service length.
MultiMatt888 5 months ago
@WrightyArts no in fact the strongest thing about ak47 is that you can combine parts produced from different countries and still working damn good and better still there is no bullet jam, unlike M16
almost all documentaries about rifles put ak47 on the top of the list
if you can, name a better one, coz the only one i can think of is the ray gun in CallOfDuty, which is given by aliens from the outer space!
theodorehui 5 months ago
@theodorehui watch?v=G6BpI3xD6h0
I don't need to say anymore
WrightyArts 5 months ago
@WrightyArts thanks for the sharing it's a good clip
i agree that M16 is way more accurate than AK47 as it is made to be accurate
the main problem is that it jams bullets
it fires 3 at a time, and usually start jamming after the 2-3 shots
and so US WWII soldiers described M16 as "nightmare on battlefield"
besides, 200 yards is just too much distance for assault rifles when you use them in real, M16 is good, but it is just too good. At least that is what i think.
theodorehui 5 months ago
@theodorehui Im afraid you got some of your information wrong my friend. the M16 only jams easily when its in harsh conditions. And the M16 didnt hit service until right before the vietnam war. WWII never saw the M16. And the M16 doesnt always shoot "triple" shot. It's a mode you can switch to when you want to use your ammo wisely. It also shoots in the semi-auto and automatic modes. And 200 yards isn't too hard for modern assault rifles, because they are designed to reach atleast 500+ yards.
TriviumFan15 5 months ago
@theodorehui Actually, the strongest thing about the ak is it's reliability and simplicity. When it comes down to it, the ak is the simplest weapon system out there which provides untrained persons the ability to learn how to operate it in minutes. And since the design is so simple and reliable, maintaining the gun is easy as hell. Plus it will NEVER jam. But when it comes to terms of firepower and accuracy, theres plenty of rifles that has the ak beat.
TriviumFan15 5 months ago
@TriviumFan15 oh right it is not WWII it is vietnam my bad
coz just according to my memory (from documentaries), mud and dirt would easily get inside the M16 and causing a jam. i m certain that the soldier "nightmare" thing is correct.
but you are so damn right here, i couldn't agree more. so i still appreciate the designer of ak47 he's still a genius. may i ask, in your opinion, which one should be no.1 and why??
theodorehui 5 months ago
@theodorehui Yes, you're absolutely right about the soldiers nightmare. And you're right about the mud and dirt jamming the weapon. But the most common nickname for it was either Jamming Jenny or Jamming Ginny. I personally think the ak deserves it's no. 1 spot. In war, reliability and simplicity has proven to be superior to space age design and over-rated technology. In the hands of a trained markmen, the ak is the deadliest weapon a man can hold in my opinion. What gun do you prefer?
TriviumFan15 5 months ago
@TriviumFan15 ironically, i actually like M16 more :P
but then my second fav would still go to ak47~
in terms of power, i couldn't agree with u more, so ak is really the deadliest weapon to me
theodorehui 5 months ago
@theodorehui Well if you like the M16, then you'll have to check out its AR-15 counterpart. It uses the same rounds as the M16 (5.56 mm), but they are usually seen with higher grade metal and plastic parts reducing the chance of jamming. The AR-15 is pretty much the next step towards making the M16 weapon system more superior in this world. And honestly, it is my personal favorite gun of all next to the M14 and .308 winchester.
TriviumFan15 5 months ago
@TriviumFan15 Your a idiot. the M16 is the AR-15 except the M16 is militarized by the fact it is the service rifle, higher grade metal or plastic parts doesn't make a gun less jamming. It's the mechanism that jams or not as much. And M16 more superior? No matter what they do to it the AK-47 would always make it more reliable unless the Americans decide to put the AK system in. lmao
FPSrUSSRia 5 months ago
@TriviumFan15 And the AR-15 isn't the the "next step" to making the M16 better.
FPSrUSSRia 5 months ago
@FPSrUSSRia See how I said its "pretty much" the next step? The AR was created in an attempt to make the M16 firing system more reliable. The AR uses the same system as the M16, just with more modern materials and more durable plastics. If it's not the next step while it uses an M16 firing system and isnt called an M16-A2, then what is it? Plus the AR has made the M16 system more reliable, it is a proven fact. It just costs more which is why the American military isnt serviced with AR's.
TriviumFan15 5 months ago
@theodorehui AK-47 has been classified as the world' most deadliest 7.62 rifle
FPSrUSSRia 5 months ago
pft, ak 47. Whatever floats your boat, i guess. I just have trouble trusting my life to old designs of any kind.
Blu0tuth0ninja 6 months ago
@Blu0tuth0ninja trusting it's one of the MOST reliable gun out there and almost ALL bolt action rifles get its design from the kar98k know your guns
MrDip02 5 months ago
@Blu0tuth0ninja and i mean the bolt design not the whole gun itself
MrDip02 5 months ago
@MrDip02 reliability isn't important anymore. every gun coming out now is loosening its parts to make them just as reliable. And when I mean old design, I mean the whole gun. And the kar98k statement is rather pointless because its based off of the first bolt action, so you could say every bolt action rifle came from that one.
Blu0tuth0ninja 5 months ago
@Blu0tuth0ninja ummm not all guns now are as reliable and durable as the ak-47 and how is that statement pointless the mausers bolt action is the best out there of course they would use it would you rather have a bolt design of the mosin nagant or mauser?
MrDip02 5 months ago
@MrDip02 Anything that comes out now is reliable enough to keep you alive. You don't need indestructability for a gun. And I already explained the bolt action issue. The kar98k is not the first bolt action, which means it was based off of the ones before it. That being said, any rifle based off the kar98k was also based off the first bolt action. So really, the first bolt action is the one all others after it are based off of.

ANTONYTHEBHOY 6 months ago
@ANTONYTHEBHOY the ak47 is just a copy of the german rifle at #9
TheBassGuitarist1 6 months ago
@ANTONYTHEBHOY
Don't spout 'facts' about things you can't take 10 mins to read about.
poplug 6 months ago
@poplug They have used the AK-47 and the modified version so YOU dont spout "facts" that arent facts you fucking moron
ANTONYTHEBHOY 6 months ago
@ANTONYTHEBHOY The US has used the M16 and the modified versions for MUCH longer due to the design being innately superior for military use. Russia does not even use the round that the ak47 used anymore, due to it being inferior(not just on accuracy but weight and production of it as well). They are actually selling off their stockpiles of that ammunition as surplus to civilian shooters around the world. Also Russia is in the process of completely phasing out the AK design. Also why swear at me?
poplug 6 months ago
@poplug The Russians are making the AK-200 which is a modified AK-47 so this whole bullshit about them getting rid of the design is utter shite. And i swear at you cause your a tool
ANTONYTHEBHOY 6 months ago

I was only trying to tell you about the actual gun, but instead you're just going to continue saying 'AK47 IS BEST IN EVERYWAY CUZ I SAY IT IS' without actually knowing about it, and the ak-200 is a completely renovated design, hardly related to the original ak-47. Anyway I'm done speaking with a retarded little kid incapable of civil conversation.
It's funny how you'll never get to shoot an AK47 until you move out of your country who's public education clearly failed you.
LOL
poplug 6 months ago
@poplug How can you even say that? There's hardly any information out there regarding the AK-200. Judging by the pictures, the receiver and other features highly indicate that it's still a Kalashikov.
esh325 6 months ago
@poplug Well for 1 Britain has one of the best public school systems in the world for 2 the fact i'm British pretty much states i will never fire an AK-47 as the British military uses the SA80 as a primary assault rifle so yah and 3rd fuck off cause your annoying me now
ANTONYTHEBHOY 6 months ago
@poplug Technically, the Russians never stopped using the 7.62x39. Spetsnaz soldiers can be seen carrying AKM's and AK-103 rifles some times, so they aren't completely useless like you implied. They aren't in the phasing out of the AK, they are updating it.
esh325 6 months ago
@poplug The 5.45x39 ballistics are really not that far off from the 5.56x45. Similar velocity, bullet weight, diameter, etc. Drastic? It's relative I guess. The M16 has gotten a heavier barrel, different sighting arrangment, and a heavier grain bullet. Doesn't really sound that drastic to me.
esh325 6 months ago

ROBDOGG97 6 months ago
@ROBDOGG97 What are you a COD Fanboy or something, the M16 was one of the worst because it jammed way to much, same with the M60, the AK-47 was so reliable that you could even put it in mud and water and it still could shoot, wouldn't have to be clean. back in Vietnam, the Vietcong wouldn't even pick up the M16, because they were so unreliable....
BoracicSumo3 6 months ago
@BoracicSumo3 your kidding me, just because i play call of duty means i know nothing about guns. if the m16 jammed so much, would so many people think it was so good that they should use it to base variants off of it, no. the USA uses it and they are still the top military force ever, and they didn't get there by assault rifles that jammed. they got there by a great assault rifle that is highly accurate and can drop a group of enemies at 800 meters. so, whats your next argument for the AK
ROBDOGG97 6 months ago
@ROBDOGG97 I'm talking about the vietnam war, the united states improved the rifle alot, but i still think the ak 47 is better, though

MrDip02 5 months ago
