EEEyh bredas! Just one thing about the E major chord, it doesnt sound right when you sing to it. I'm pretty sure it's some chord (don't know the name) slided down one fret from the A :) ? Try it out! It sounds better , i think ) One Love!

I would personally suggest to all players wanting to learn, to think of the E Major pentatonic and the C# minor pentatonic as too separate scales as when you come to playing in E major, you won't wanna be hitting on those minor style licks in a major style progression!

i think the reason the one part sounds like it could be either way is because of the overdubbing guitar. I think the way you taught it is right and then the other guitar makes the sound of the other possibility

Most blues soul songs are take offs of a basic set of blues templates set forth by the greats...

Thats cool bvecause thats what blues is with the added creativety ofthe final artist...

take offs are fine.... but ya know after a while when your playing over 40 years one can hear the difference between an inspiration and a "snatch" of a good song... whatever.... now adays that kind of ripoff is "in"
