@XrhapsodyXx I think most of it changed because Synyster Gates joined and kind of brought along a more technical aspect to their songs, I mean Zachy would have done great if he continued to do all the guitar parts, but the 2nd guitar just adds more fullness, and also Syn has more skill in soloing and i don't think you'd get much of that with metalcore. Not to mention the guitar duos.

Respond to this video... Although I personally like Waking the Fallen the most. It's got a feeling of great musicianship, but also retains a lot from their first album with the more hardcore singing although it's toned down a lot more. but you get a taste of their early days but also some good solo's by Syn as well.
