I'm sure Tumbler Ridge thought there would be a lot of new jobs with a new coal mine, but all new 92 jobs are going to immigrant workers. No jobs there. No guarantee there will be any jobs with Enbridge either, so that argument is moot.
@taborgirlskickass immigrants are still residents and members of the community. It's pretty bigoted to suggest that the jobs don't mean anything because they belong some someone with a different cultural background than your own.
