operation flashpoint dragon rising has good things that arma 2 doesnt have and arma has good things that operation flashpoint doesnt have but there doesnt excist something like the PERFECT GAME

operation flashpoint 1 was even more realistic than this game, this game is rly fuked up (sorry for the term) but seriously , they ignored its origins and made it a game more for the average joe, or the average mw2 player ... u guys try the first one and you will understand :D

@FOXeye95 The reason they "ignored its origins" is because these aren't even the same developers. The original OFP designers hadn't the rights to the franchise, so they went on to create ArmA/Arma 2. If you are looking for the sequel to OFP, that is what you want.

OFP2 is just a shooter on rails, designed with casual console play in mind with limits imposed on where you can go and what you can do, with careful attention given to level length so couch-sitters don't get bored. CoD, in a word.

friendly fire! on mission 4 i think.... i can't remember what it was. but you have to take out enemy aavps with a smaw! and everytime i was about to destroy an aavp i got shot by a friendly smaw! apparently my squadmates took it upon themselves after i said to hold fire to open up on the enemy aavps while i'm right in front of them! and that happened 4 times in a row! and before i forget if your under moderatly heavy fire and you get hit, don't coun't on your medic because they don't react in

i have had this game for like 2 weeks and i love it! i think the graphics are pretty good(i didn't say excellent), and i like the creativity codemasters have put into it! but i didn't like that the manuverability sucked on vehicles! everytime i try to turn i drift! Also like half of the time when i try to reload the game glitches and your character just stands there and the gun moves retardedly and the gun reloads! that didn't bother me to much though! but what really pissed me off is

i just got this game, and it sucks! All I did in the first level was run for ten minutes then die. Start over, do same thing, then die. It takes for ever to get anywhere, and when you do get somewhere, you cant aim worth shit, and your fucking teammates start shooting from 500m away.

OPF2 has got great graphics..especially on PC... AND your PC doesnt have to be a beast to run it...unlike arma2 which is terribly power hungry

Operation flashpoint 2 is amazing but not as much open to modding and movement freedom as Armed assault 2. however better on graphics and physics and less bugs then arma 2. i like both. And i cannot wait until i have a new computer to play them on.

Realism doesn't make graphics good, or a game good. Please stop with the holier than thou antics. Call of Duty isn't a realistic shooter game it's an arcade game, that was the developers intent. It doesn't make it "worse", or "stupid". If you want to play a "realistic war game", go join the fucking army. I'm sure they could use a few more of you realism buffs out in Iraq.
