  • Isn´t that intro also in "socks with sandals" ? ; D And good review, I will also get Bugera soon. Some people say they broke easily, have you had any trouble or similiar problems with yours?

  • @P4nzerk93 It is a friend's amp, but he hasnt had any issues at all. I think what people complain about is general build quality, but the combo is the heaviest combo I have ever had to carry. So I wouldnt worry about it.

  • @acasadasseiscordas You can get it at guitarbackingtracks (dot) com

  • hey man, can u upload this Backing Track??? [2]

  • hey man, can u upload this Backing Track???

  • God damn dude that tone is amazing, this has convinced me to get this amp to lug around for practice

  • does it was necesary to use the audix? .you can record only using the sm57 .

  • @foraquid No it was pretty loud!

  • The volume is at 1 on this video? If so thats alot of gain for such a low volume. Would you say this was bedroom volume?

  • Wow, what a sound \m/

    Subscribed.

    Cheers,

    Robin :o)

  • @RobinStrower THANK YOU DUDE!!!

  • @fluff191 damn, adopt me pleasee :P

  • nice cover! clean and tight.... love it

  • Do you use the maxon or fulltone like toneboost ?

  • Nice tone !

  • sick cover dude, awesome sound!

  • You have the killswitch tone DOWN!!!! You sound massive!!!

  • @SicilyJoel Pause the beginning of the video! Those were the settings!

  • very well played!

  • Dare I say you have a better tone here than the ablum tone? Great vid!

  • @oJinxx Wow thanks man!

  • Since you were recording with two mics, did you double track at all?

  • @XDenzelMoshingtonX The 2 mics were used at the same time (blended together) for each of the 2 tracks yeah.

  • @fluff191 Thanks for the quick response!

If you made a tutorial on recording with two mics (preferably the i5 and the sm57) that would be so helpful! Your first tutorial has helped me out quite a bit and im thinking of buying an audix i5 to compliment my sm57 but im not sure how I should approach recording. At the moment, I just double track like you instructed but this sounds so amazing that im seriously intrigued by all you put into it!

    Fucking amazing cover man!

  • @XDenzelMoshingtonX The recording process for 2 mics is basically the same. You just have to make sure the mics are the same distance from the speaker grill (if you dont want to have to worry about phasing issues) and instead of arming one track you arm two when it comes time to record the (1) track. Make sense? You are basically using 2 mics to capture (1) performance. And then again with the other track (i.e. performance). Hope that helps.

  • @fluff191 So if I were recording one rhythm and one lead for a metal song. Just arm two tracks at a time and record both? Basically removing the need to double track, since you have two mics! Would you recommend putting one mic in front of the dustcap and putting one mic out side of the speaker cone, then angling it towards the dustcap? Sorry about all of the inquiries! You've been really compliant and helpful!

  • @XDenzelMoshingtonX You arm 2 tracks at a time to capture ONE performance (i.e. one side). Then record it again (performance #2) and pan to the opposite side. If you play very tight and well, it sounds huge. The reason is the subtle nuances of the different performances double what you are hearing. So in your DAW, you will have 2 tracks of performance #1 (one for each mic) pan it far left and then 2 tracks of performance #2 pan it far right. Then your lead is a single track. Make sense?

  • @fluff191 For sure! Thanks for the help Fluff!

  • Whats that guitar brands' name? mine has the same headstock but is made by myself :D

  • @troeteimarsch Its a Schecter Solo 6!

  • @fluff191 hot!

  • Awesome cover of an awesome song! I just got the 6260-212 combo and my tone doesn't get even near the one you got. Did you get a much better tone when you hooked it up to those mesa boogie 4x12's?

  • @Th3Mandrill YES!!! Any Mesa cab (2x12 is AWESOME!!) will improve the amps sound ALOT!!

  • Sure, that rectifier is better, but would you recommend this amp for students without money but with a wish for a good metal sound?

  • @Krakthor Oh absolutely. Killer bang for the buck!

  • sweet cover dude

but also i was wondering, because i have this guitar too,

do you get any extra string noise/ring with this guitar?

cause i do i think it might be because the strings run through the body idk

  • @jferguson585 Running strings through the body doesnt cause string noise, an improperly set-up guitar does. Mine dont have any buzz. Take yours to a shop and have it setup! It is worth the money!

  • @fluff191 well i did get it set up haha, its not buzzing like a guitar thats not set up would

the strings have a lot of extra ring when you hit and stop a note quick

  • @jferguson585 Time for bigger strings!!

  • @fluff191 well i have 12's lol

but i was jw thanks though

  • @jferguson585

    bigger strings, boss NS-2

  • Did I mention this is a sexy ass cover? It is! Will you play me music on my wedding day?!!

  • @lostshadowtoo Of course!!

  • Awsoooome cover dude, keep it up :P

  • thx dude!

  • you're using only the distortion of the 6260?

    sound fucking great!! i liked.

  • @schranzmaster90 Yes sir! No boost. And thank you!

  • You remind me of Fearedse videos! Great tone!

  • sounds mint! how much of this tone depends on your cab that's worth it's weight in gold??

  • @profanious The cab plays a huge part. But it only adds to what it gets so if you have a garbage amp, it will multiply the garbage ya know?

  • Sounds great man! Keep it up!

  • Nice dude. Sounds pretty good. I tried to do this one a while ago, but those cunts at WMG block my video. Hopefully they don't block yours.

By the way, what are the two guitars in the background?

  • @staytrue0407 Actually the vid was blocked but I disputed it and won.

Guitars in the background are my 94 Strat and 88 Ibanez RG140. They were my gig guitars for like 10 years and are very beat up haha

  • great cover man, nice tone aswell (Y)

  • Nice, very fearedse like borrowing an amp! lol, great tone, and you are using the recto cab, very cool!! It sounds great!

  • @roadifier

everyone is getting influenced by fearedse now -.-

  • @wolfman109h I agree. I think if ANYONE makes a decent amp demo vid they will be compared to Ola. Which is cool by me. He just showed there were other options other than using a built-in phone mic for YouTube vids.

  • @fluff191

    i agree too :)

I got influenced my him for my recording... I first was a bit skeptical about micing an amp at home but than I saw his tutorial and tried it myself...

ola Englund is a recording(amp testing revolution :)

  • do you like the mic preamps on the ux2 ? or do you recomment an external pre amp?

  • @wolfman109h Yeah they do the job pretty well!

  • Petty cool tone.

    Nice amp.
