@charpocus Putting used engine oil through a diesel would be a terrible choice. That used oil has sediments and other trash in it the would do a lot of damage if you were to burn it.
You can run vw's on grease but i wouldnt with anything 06 or newer because they got a new engine then that is not a fan. But my dad has ran his 03 jetta wagon tdi on grease for about four years now and he has 285,000 miles on her and running like a champ and we run our 85 jetta on it also
you can't just pour used cooking oil INTO ANY DIESEL MOTOR with out conversion. the mercedes diesels will runs without conversion. you put 100 percent veggie into a ford chevy or dodge diesel it is not going to run like the mercedes you would have to heat it to over 160 degrees. i have a 83 mercedes station wagon that i run on 100 percent used cooking oil 6 years now. veggie vacations once a year florida to PA. to visit my mom. VEGGIE OIL MAN CLEARWATER FLORIDA
It also works fine with used ENGINE oil ! In a way feed your car with it's own shit...
