@TheIrotsen. I had this trouble when i first bought the game. You have to reinstall and if after that it doesn't work then take the game back or throw your PS3 or Xbox off a cliff.

k cool two questions whats wrong with using a usb mic. thats what i use and 2 does it cost mony to get fraps

1. USB microphones are, obviously plugged into a USB port.

You need a microphone to plug into the standard pink port, so the Realtek Audio HD Manager recognizes it as a sound input.

2. Yes, it does. 37$, to be exact. Go to fraps (dot) com.

I'm so glad you're doing a Let's Play of this. Arm4g3dd0nX's is and the only other person I knew of who was doing it was Air5Wolf and he had too many frickin' microphone problems for me to be able to watch it without my ears bleeding.

I know I have to record it, and I need a microphone, but I have no Idea how to do that, what do you use to record, and what and how to use microphone while in game? I am a gamer, but not a tech expert. If your wondering what console, PS2 and PS3, not sure if you can anwser this since this is PC, but It would help alot.

Well.. You need quite a lot stuff for Let's Playing.

If you want to record games on your computer, you need a microphone (not USB), Fraps and the Realtek HD Audio Manager. If you have a USB microphone, you'll need Audacity instead of the Audio Manager.

If you want to record games on a console, you need a microphone, a Dazzle or a Grabby and Audacity.

But the reason it runs so smoothly is my high end computer.

Glad that you like it :) Normally, I have the game volume on extra loud, but in Assassins Creed, extra loud appears to be the perfect volume to record.
