on a critical note, your left hand and right technique vary. Turn your hands of a litte bit, especially in your left hand to match up. and your left wrist tends to break and not keep the angle in tact.
these guys that say stop using so much arm. Keep doing what you're doing man, nice velocity. Just make sure you're going to audition somewhere that plays like that.
relax like alot. dont use too much arm. and then try out. i know it sounds harsh but noone wants to take anyone who uses alot of arm or marks time like a dancing santa
A lot of people have already said to relax when you're playing. Find out where the tension comes from when you're playing and get rid of it. I think hand isolation helps a lot. If you can break down what one hand is playing and make it easy and relax and then do the same on the other hand then that should help. As far as relaxation goes you can also regulate your breathing and just find out where and when you feel tension
You're hands look completely different, it's like your left hand is higher than your right. And like the other's said, chill with mark time bro. By now you have probably fixed that, but just fix some technique things and your good.
Lol not trying to be a dick or anything, but you might want to chill with the marking time. You kinda look like one of the dancing Santa's you see at Christmas. It's not terrible playing, actually. My main thing would be to watch how much arm you're using in a lot of that stuff. You're arm use is a little excessive through most of this. And obviously the accuracy around the drums, but you know that.
looking really good man. just a few things. relax. you look really tense while you play, you don't need to squeeze the life out of the sticks. breath. second, make sure the cross overs don't change how you approach the drums. but overall, great job!
What everyone else said, but I also noticed on some of your crossovers(specifically left over right hand) that when it should be sticks crossing over you do hands
good the only thing i could see is you flap your hand on the eight on a hand drum to drum and make sure your that your arms are coming out to shoulder length when going to drum 3 and 4 i am a fellow tenor player as well and i wish we had those types of tenors at our school . good job keep on druminnnnnn...
@TheThurstonQuad our percussionist are taught to do go side to side like that, its from picking up their feet all the way. don't know why, but it doesn't seem to affect anything

Make sure you keep those diddles even. I will do variations of roll exercises with buzzes. That helps me but good playing though

Relax. And your MT is a little bouncy. And sticks in and out could be a bit snappier. You're a good player, just chill. Overall awesome job though!
And I love that starting at 5:20!!!
