  • Those chicks are not going for slaughter at a factory. Factory farms raise their own chicks, and such a small number of chicks is probably for a private chicken owner, like me. There are a lot of great hatcheries that sell day old baby chicks through the mail. Those chicks were also several different breeds, probably heritage breeds. The chicks take a couple days to digest the remains of the yolk in their digestive system before they need food and water.

  • @asu1976ify Thanks for the nice comment...They do go to a local farm that raises them.

  • do you toss that around too lol

  • Once the equipment broke loose in the back of the truck on the way to my office. The box of chicks, which was on top, fell to the floor and was run over by the equipment rolling around. We recovered 99 out of 100 chicks running around in the back of the truck. The last one was just a smear of yellow on the floor.

  • O.k, I just want to point out that yes they are cute, but do you not realise that these are chicks being sent to a factory farm for mass slaughter that YOU eat. Stop being so ''loving'', if you really care then stop eating meat.

  • stupid vegetarian liberals. Its mean so stop eating animals. HAHA

  • nice

  • This is awesome. Send me a dog... maybe Mom won't notice ;)

  • Your a great USPS Employee, Thank You for being so kind and sharing, i didn`t know you could mail live animals.
