. Hasn't TLC done enough damage to this family then to now sue Jon. TLC is only hurting the kids if he sues Jon and Jon had to go to jail as he can't pay. Any money Jon has should be used to raise his kids not to benefit TLC more by making them richer. TLC doesn't need the money or they wouldn't be paying such big bucks to do reality shows. I think Kate is the one who thinks that she is the star, but of course no one dares to view her in that light because she's portrayed not only as a victimized & abandoned single mother but also as a compassionate & genuine human being, while Jon is being treated like a foreigner who violated & mistreated one of their own. She's the one that was writing all of the books, making book signing events, going on talk shows (before the drama), & worst of all, opting to continue filming the show.
