Another thing... I am a Swiss blonde from dark-haired parents but my hair has been almost brown since age 12 or so. Before that I was a lemon-blonde-haired towhead !! My hair still gets lighter the more I am out in the sunshine. Many who are blonde as children see their hair darken as they age. So many of those seeming brown-haired parents that Nemmersdorf1944 sees in Zürich, were actually bright blondes when they were very young.

@bernerbad Skin colour or hair colour or height is not a good example of inheritance because it is affected by the environment. Eye colour is a better example as this is not affected by environment.

It is a matter of common sense !!

I am of Swiss background and I am blonde from a largely dark-eyed, dark-haired (extended) family. The reason Nemmersdorf1944 sees so many blonde babies in Zürich, is because so many Swiss families have the recessive trait for blonde hair on BOTH sides of their (extended) families.

I dont agree with this, In Switzerland here, I see very many couples with children every day in Zürich and mostly one parent has brown hair and the other blonde, but the children mostly have blonde hair and I am not talking about newborn babies. So may be those peopl ehave lluck or this thing is wrong, just go to the streets and check out how iot really looks, also blue eyes are very frequent and many brown haired people have it to here.

@Nemmersdorf1944 well maybe in your case blonde hair is dominant over brown...and blue is dominant over brown eyes too... what do u say? =)

Thank you for the video. There is a mistake though, the outcome should be 4 blond hairs and 8 brown. You might want to change the ByBy girl to blond. Cheers.
