  • This woman edited for Robbins but says "There was no rules for Harold"?

I’m living happily enough in Thailand, but in fact I was forced to leave the United States because no one ever seemed interested in hiring as a copyeditor a guy with a bachelor's degree from a state university far outside the top rank of such schools. And to look back across the Pacific at what I left behind over ten years ago is to experience real heartache. I am jetsam from an unfortunately foundering society.

  • He plays with readers mind so dramatically

  • I like novels of Harold Robbins. I never forget ' Marianne' role in the novel, Never love a stranger.

  • He was a renowned novelist but tales of his own life contain even more fiction than his books. What is known is that with reported worldwide sales of 750m, Harold Robbins sold more books than J.K. Rowling, earned and spent $50m during his lifetime, and was as much a part of the sexual and social revolution as the pill, Playboy and pot.

  • The title doesn't exactly sing praises for her talents as an editor. Bad grammar! It should be "Harold and I."

  • Harold Robbins had it all. A new Robbins release was greatly anticipated by all his fans. The 1970s represented the apex of his career, although The Carpetbaggers was prob. his finest. Robbins read literature, had a great knowledge of fiction, and was a mentor to many. He could be, because he was inimitable.

  • My favorite author.

  • so i found harold robbins but now can i find the film THE PIRATE from the book written by Harold, staring Franko Nero and Anne Archer.
