Harold Robbins had it all. A new Robbins release was greatly anticipated by all his fans. The 1970s represented the apex of his career, although The Carpetbaggers was prob. his finest. Robbins read literature, had a great knowledge of fiction, and was a mentor to many. He could be, because he was inimitable.
