What it means to Be a Mechanical Engineer

I dont agree with anyone who finds you boring. Being an inventor, you provide calculations, and do the math. Have had many experiences with structural engineers calculation stress. Any mechanical engineers if you have time, look at mine and give me an idea of how efficient each stroke would be, would be appreciated.

both ... if you are thinking of going to university take a 3 year bachelor of science with bio and chemistry, do your honours, and then go to med school or do cancer research .. it will be half as stressful and you'll always have work .. im not trying to discourage anybody from mechanical engineering thats just my opinion ...

AWESOME work! I am 38 and going back to the university for an Engineering degree. I have been in the work force for 22 years and can tell you this kid rocks! He is very intelligent and seems like he would be fun to work with. The latter is a very big deal!

If your a mechanical engineer, why does your job look like it does structural (civil)? video was slightly entertaining, but a bit dorky. The main focus of every mech engineer is build it as strong as possible with the least amount of material and cost, hands down.
