i also was in band with Mr. Sweeney in the 1970's - what a great time! We called him Henry Man-sweeney so much, we forgot his real name. He was a great guy, so sorry he's gone.

I know nothing of him but his video told me. Isn't that great.

1979 Arlington grad, wind ensemble and marching band alumnus.

Finding this was the first I heard of his death. The late 70's was when both the wind ensemble and the marching band began to thrive. I was so fortunate to be a part of it. And it was all because of 'Henry'.
