No script is called not having a fucking story. It works if the main actor has talent, which in this case... it fails.

This movie could have been great, especially given Coppola's inside knowledge of Hollywood. But seriously, anyone who reads Hollywood gossip blogs could have written a more illuminating script. Coppola also doesn't depict Dorff's character honestly, being too intent on making him sweet and lovable. Are we meant to believe he'd be lying back like a teddybear while two strippers gyrate on poles in front of him? The film was vacuous and it was hard to imagine Dorff as a hot, in-demand celeb,
