  • does anyone know where one could find all of bb and les playing together

  • @timjmoran As far as I know, all of what you said there is true but you neglected to mention the fact that leo fender actually asked les Paul to work with him instead of Gibson but les refused, saying that if he was going to do it then he wanted to work with the biggest guitar company in the world, and that was Gibson.

  • Les Paul RIP, But I laughed so hard at 1:09 "Lemme play with myself" lolol

  • les paul is dead i am sad

  • When it comes to musical geniuses of the 20th Century, Les Paul is in the top 1.

  • RIP Les Paul :(

  • REDSHOE.. one other thing.. LP brought that idea for the Solid body guitar to Gibson waaaay b4 the early 50's( I believe it was more like the early 40's-

    ie, the "log" )

Gibson ACTually issued the 1st Les Paul

    guitar in '52.

  • Rest In Peace...Lester William Polfus...Vaya Con Dios...

  • R.I.P Les Paul ; June 9, 1915 - August 13, 2009....

  • Les Paul is My hero and a genius. The greatest player and innovator ever (in my opinion).

  • Becky you are uninformed

  • in 1941 les paul invented a guitar he called "the log". the log was one of the first hollow body guitars. les paul brought his new idea for a guitar to the gibson guitar corporation in the early 50's.gibson made a guitar using les pauls idea with his consent. gibson brought his finished idea to him and let him play it.he liked the model enough to sign the endorsement and les pauls name was on the guitar. he did a lot more then just a bridge and color

    becky peterman

    you are a idiot

  • @redshoe555

Um... I "believe" all guitars were hollow body up to the point he invented the log.

Please take care not to call the kettle black.

  • REDSHOE--Slight correction there.. the "log" was a SEMI-Hollow body

guitar- LP took a 4"x4" pc of wood, mounted the pickups, bridge & Tailpiece to that; THEN took two halves of an old Epiphone Archtop and attached them to

that 4x4". The idea was to cut down the

feedback problem of Archtop Hollow body guitars & also increase sustain. Gibson took a pass on it. w/ the result that Leo Fender beat Gibson to the market by 4

years( the original Broadcaster, 1st issued in ( I believe) '48.

  • oh oh oh... what I would've given to have been there...

  • Les Paul is the best.

  • Man is a genius!!!

  • I can't believe that no one has commented on Les Paul! Not only was he one of the greatest guitar players ever, he invented multi-tracking/overdubbing and some of the best guitars ever! What a legend! Where are all you guitarists - give Les some support for Heaven's sake!
