pakistan is one n only country who have national language URDU so we can better say tht its OUR language

speaking urdu or giving the status of national language and introduce in all world as a language are two different things

@BeamSurfer To correct you. Pakistan has nothing to do with correct Islam. Urdu is not the Muslim variant of Hindi. Urdu has nothing to do with Islam. Urdu means mixed, so you will find some Farsi, Arabic & Hindi etc words when you are speaking Urdu. Muslims should place more emphasis on learning Arabic instead of Urdu.

@dynomorph I was here for the food and don't know how politics/religion got into this (always seems to in any Pakistani video)... anyhow I agree 100% with you about the difference between language and religion, but...

Urdu is the Turkish word for ARMY. Indeed, a language has no religion, but Urdu zaban was the "army-language" which emerged from the mixed origins of muslim soldiers as they moved from arabia, via Turkey and Persia across to India. All their languages fused and became Urdu.
