Im not surprised this guy took 40hours to complete it. he doesnt know you can easily sneak past guards. plus i think he gives a bit too much info away but still a good review. top game that took me under 20hours to complete

@masterbrown01 If you do everything in the game it's easily a 40 hour campaign. Sure, you can even do it in under 10 hours easily, but you'd be missing out on a lot of the story just from skipping the assassin's tombs and glyphs. Not to mention, a lot of the side quests tie into the story as it gives you an idea of the lifestyle of each of these people you get the missions from -- not to mention assassins contracts, arguably the best side quests in the game.

I think main story alone is about 12-15 Hours. Best game in the series

@cwm414nintendostar The hell it's not. I'm about 10 hours into the game, and I just got to Tuscany. The only thing I've done so far is a few side missions and collected the viewpoints. This game is EASILY 40 hours long.

The only time it's NOT 40 hours long is if you completely ignore the side quests and focus on the main mission, and if you do that, you're missing out on a LOT of the game.

This game only took me like 13 hours TOTAL to complete...

There's a difference between having no life and just playing the missions.

Having no life would probably mean just sitting there for hours on end and beating the game in one sitting.

Just playing the game means that you do about 5-6 missions everytime you play and then going outside... :D

i can't stand how the enemies glow when you target them. It totally wrecks the awesome fighting/death animations. In AC1 you could just fight guys without using the targetting, i hope you can do that in this, I havn't picked it up yet. I also dislike the the red arrows over the guards, its just too much clutter on the screen, taking away from all the great visuals, i hope you can turn all that extra HUD stuff off in the options.

You can turn off all the HUD options, no problem. When I play the first game now I'm that used to it I have no HUD at all, I don't even have the mini-map and try and navigate using landmarks in the city.

The graphics are good in a stand alone point of view but in cases of polygons its not really anything special compared to the likes of granturismo killzone 2 uncharted or god of war, now im not against anything of AC2 i love it and am getting it tommorow nor am i a ps3 fan but its obvious those games far surpass AC2's graphics by a fair amount, so i dont see where people are saying the grahpcis are amazing, however when your high up on a building the city's look FANTASTIC

IGN is BS. I've been playing for over 40hrs and I'm also doing side missions and secrets without any guide and I still haven't beat it. AC2 is an amazing game. 10/10 easy. AC1 was amazing. But AC2 surpasses to the nth degree.
