  • If I had a dollar for every pixel in this video, then I would have 10 dollars.

  • The captain of that flight was my father,,, and yes i am very proud of him <3 I LOVE YOU DAD!

  • Flawless skill of the crew and especially the captain of the aircraft at these times that takes all responsibility, a perfect demonstration of how to proceed during an emergency as serious as this!

  • crash - no

    safe landing - yes

good pilot - hell fucking yes

  • I dunno, but that plane looks like a Boeing to me.

  • Now that's what I call arriving with style.

  • if it aint boeing i aint going

  • shoulda used Boeing

  • Hello!!This is the captain here!Have you started felling scared or sick by the fail to land properly, there is a pants under your seat and a bag prepare....

  • What happened? It looked like the nose gear was down. Where'd the smoke come from?

  • @JetMechMA It came from the front landing gear

    it was braking

  • @burnoutsmoke391 Yes I can see that it came from the nose, but I was asking where the smoke came from. WHY was it smoking? What was smoking and why? The videon is very grainy and it's hard to tell. Was the nose gear turned sideways like on other Airbuses?

  • @JetMechMA The smoke came from the tires to slow down

    The plane burned rubber

  • @burnoutsmoke391: The smoke came from the tires to slow down

    The plane burned rubber.

JM: Tires don't normally smoke during landing. Why did these tires smoke during landing?

  • @JetMechMA It's obviously because of friction.

  • @fs10inator: It's obviously because of friction.

JM: It's not obvious at all. Wheel and Tire assemblies don't have friction. They have bearings. Still doesn't explain where the malfunction was that caused this incident.

  • @JetMechMA the gear was down, just to state that point yes. the cause of the smoke was probably due to a tire bursting. the captain held the nose up for as long as possible to slow it down as much as he could before dropping the nose gear onto the r/w, thus cause as little damage as poss. if the burst or damage to nose wheel is the cause, as the plane runs along the r/w, it brings up asphalt/concrete, giving you the "smoke".

  • @keenair OK, I'll buy that.

  • @JetMechMA: really!!! you really need to change you name from jetmechma to want2bamech....

  • really!!! you really need to change you name from jetmechma to want2bamech....

  • what kind of JET mech are you!!!!! a model airplane mech i guess.... there is few to non airplanes with nose landing gear brake!

  • Um....is there even a passenger in there

  • since he knew the front wheel was not working proparly .. he knew he had to make the smothest landing ever.. EVER..

  • Why not show what the fire department did?

  • Too bad it's not an airbus

  • @MegaChrisHead 2 bad its not a fail either lol

  • @SparkofDarkness1

    It is an Airbus

  • @MegaChrisHead

Too bad? :) It is an Airbus

  • Id say they shat them selves

  • ahh yess. risking your life to fly to a meeting for a job you fucking hate. life - doesnt yours SUCK?

  • Comment removed

  • oh they'll be ok guys lets clap now

  • ooo..my god stop stop..stop

  • nice!

  • Airbus makes the best commercial aircrafts out there. Embraer is my second favourite. The E-Jets are awsome, but I like the A320.

  • hate it when you get wank stains that know everything about everything!!

  • Kabul international airport. Ariyana Airlines.

  • i'm sure he just wanted to do a wheelie :P

  • Respect to the PILOTS!:)

  • @ForUSimulatorVideos And to the Airplane also !

  • There are tons of nosegear faliures with the Airbus A320.

  • he did a good job holding that nose up as long as he could, props

  • Nice and smooth, great piloting. Kept the nose up as long as possible,

  • dam i wish the video was long i want to see tthe emergency vehciles operate.

  • how does he manage to ride only on the main gear?

  • We need to petition youtube to ban flight simmers from youtube. They're the most annoying people on the planet.

@flight simmers: NO ONE LIKES YOU. TAKE YOUR DECEPTIVE VIDEOS AND YOUR SMART-ASS COMMENTS ELSEWHERE. YOU DON'T *REALLY* KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT AVIATION AND I DON'T THINK YOU SHOULD BE WELCOME HERE.

Hell, buy an RC airplane and stick a DV camera on it. At least that'd be more interesting than your stupid computer game videos

  • @jonchall8 Shut the F*ck up. Everyone of your useless comment's are your opinions only. There are people in this GALAXY that LIKE these videos. If you dont like em', don't watch em'!

  • @jonchall8 you're retarded

  • all this microsoft pilots here its so funny hahaha i think most important fact is/was that nobody got hurt Ö=

  • glad everything went fine

  • perfect emergency technique!!!! hail to the pilot!!

  • @blackuzco

LOL dude your supposed to lift the nose of a plane up before landing, even without a gear failure. its called a flare LOL

  • kudos to the pilot.. he do what he know best.. keep the nose uplift while slow down the aircraft before touch down the nose gear.. BRAVO!!!

  • It looks like we've got smarter people here in youtube than Airbus and Boeing's got .... Both companies should really start looking out for geniouses over here. So, all the engineers and people involved in the proces of making those airplanes should kill themselves, they failed at aviation big time......

  • V V Look at the monkeys arguing down there! V V

  • Kabul

  • Classic aviation quote:

"Airbus's are built by morons for geniuses to fly, Boeing's are built by geniuses for morons to fly"

  • Airbuses are known for the good landings, Boeings are knowing for the Boooinnnggg landings.

  • You know what they say...if it aint' a Boeing, I aint' going.

  • oh and when is the 787 gonna be ready?

  • wow, what is with the aggression against airbus Flightsimer. Both companies have great reputation when it comes to aircraft safety. Its that not all that counts?

  • Sorry for aggression, but I was more peeved that absolutely no justification is made!! I like both manufacturers, and I agree that the A380 could be seen as fat & ugly. It was just "worst commercial airline manufacturer" that got me. Sorry if I seemed aggressive.

  • Airbus is the worst commercial airplane company on the face of the earth, id rather move to some small deserted island than see an ugly a380 at MIA.

  • Oh well.... at least airbus don't have a two year delay on the A350... the same can't be said for the 787.

Oh yes.... sadly the 747i isn't as popular as the A380 (Only Lufthansa orders I think). Oh YEESS... Airbus workers didn't go on almost endless strike causing inconvenience to a number of carriers. And I'd love to see a 737 float down the Hudson, saving many (American) lives.

So yes..., Airbus is the "worst commercial airplane company" ;-)

I'm not against Boeing, but justify your opinion.

  • ok if you want to argue, im here. first of all the A350 program has barely even started a delay can happen right in front of your eyes at any moment, second of all the 747-8F is actually more popular than the a380F, third of all strikes happen all the time to companys all over the world eventually one will happen to airbus,

  • I wasn't arguing (as much as I enjoy it). However:

    - To my knowledge, the first fuselage sections of the A350 are already on site. But I know 787 has 3? finished airframes, but first flight was intended for almost/more than one year ago.

    - The A380F has been cancelled, so we can't compare that, as carriers have no choice but to go for the 747-8F

    - An Airbus strike is unlikely, as parts are made in the UK, France, Germany and Spain by separate firms. Who I doubt would strike simultaneously.

  • fourth of all the 737 is a lot lighter than the a320 by a matter of 10,000 pounds to and any commercial plane can land in water and float its the pilot that counts not the plane, any other questions you want to ask me?

  • Sorry, I don't work in 'pounds'. I'm European.... kilos if you don't mind.

No questions were asked in the first place, but thanks for answering one anyway.

  • @flightsimer747

The plan also counts when landing on water : shape of nose , where are the engines located ....

  • thats not nice of you, im an airbus pilot , its a beautiful plane hahaha

  • more boeings have fallin out of the sky than airbus yanky boy!!!!

  • Boeing has been around longer than Airbus :P

Both make decent aircraft, if I had to say, it would be Embraer : )

  • Thats because there are more Boeing planes than airbus planes about 90% of the worlds commercial jets are Boeings, do your reaserch then complain..

  • A real pilot flies a Boeing not an Airbus. It could be true that more Boeings have falling out than airbus. That's because Boeing has a larger history than Airbus.

  • "A real pilot flies a Boeing not an Airbus"

    LOL are you serious?!?!?!

So all those pilots flying the Airbus are not real pilots? LOL i suppose they must have got their pilots licence from a cerial box.

    idiot...

  • Have you ever flown an airbus or boeing?

If so, you would see the difference. Do you what I don't like from airbus? You have stupid stick instead of yoke. If you take off with crosswind, airbus is correcting your track. Where is the fun of flying??? With boeing it is not that case! So again, a real pilot flies a boeing not airbus!!!!!

  • Very ignorant comment. A great aircraft should have ALL these safety features..its modern technology. The Aircraft assists the Captain, the two work hand-in-hand to bring passengers to safety. And thats why Airbus have done so well also...their machines are Intelligent. Ps. I love Boeings. But none of us have a right to make stupid opinions like that. What if the plane was to crash and your loved ones were on board? By the way, ALL aircraft have that track correction..its called a YAW DAMPER.

  • @jlebesis right, i don't get why these other kids are argueing. A plane is a plane it takes you to designation its just how the plane seating is all i care about.

  • @jasonbsa Destination not designation.

  • real pilots haven't the time to sit in the front of a PC and discuss on youtube.

  • So what about you? Are you a also a pilot, lol?

  • i'm sitting in the front of my PC an discussing on youtube. am i a pilot?...flashbrain

  • @flynabil, do you realize that all jet fighters have a stick and not a yoke ?? Does that tell you anything ? Obviously, a stick is better for maneuvering. Don't tell me you're smarter than the engineers who designed all those planes (military and commercial) with a stick control,FOR A REASON. Besides, flying a plane isn't about "fun". Is it ? It's not like they make planes so pilots can enjoy flying them. These aren't like cars that we're supposed to enjoy driving.

  • @niteowlsam Well not offending you in anyway but Fighter jets don't use Yokes because of restricted spacing in the cockpit and because the Pilot needs the other hand for doing other operations with-in the cockpit.

  • @flynabil and flightsimer747:

Let's see, Airbus adapted the fly-by-wire technology, why? make the plane lighter, they use composite materials. And Boeing is using the same concept like the Airbus's fly-by-wire technology on the 777 and the 787. Its good to have Boeing and Airbus in the aviation market. So stop saying Airbus is some shit or whatever.

Who are you actually? The worlds best aviation expert, or is it your own stupid mind of yours making comments like that.

  • I couldn't agree more.

  • GreekDestination

the firist wheel was broken, so that pilot is smart he landed tha plane without crashing the nose into the ground.

hope you got it now, thank you

  • i dont see anything wrong

can someone explain this to me please?

  • i think the nosegear wheel was out but it was stuck

  • it was extended but was locked in a turned posistion, like the jet blue A320 in LAX

  • you didnt see the smoke???

  • smoke came out from nose gear in case you missed that.

  • look at .20 i saw my flag the norwegian flag where is this

  • hard brake

    why did this happen?

  • The nosegear wouldn't lock. He already knew that and that is why he kept the nose up as long as possible.

  • Yea good pilot. Where is recorded? I saw a norweigan flag but i dont think it is in norway

  • Honestly, does it look like Norway. Let's look at the evidence; lots of flags from many countries, army vehicles, dry/desert terrain??... Fucking Norway! Tit!

  • its in Kabul

  • Kabul? are<you sure? I can see norwegian flags

  • yes i can tell you i know it because i saw it on TV and 2th look at 0:18 you can see other flaps for examle USA and that is the military base at Kabul Airport

  • what a big amount of smoke produce only 2 fired tiny wheels!!!

  • Those wheels aren't tiny

  • it prolly ate through those wheels and got the shocks

  • was that that one JetBlue plane with the nosegear turned sideways? very nice job to the pilot

  • no, the JetBlue was a A320 and this is a A300/310. also, this airfield is some military place. Kabul or so.

  • yes , it was in kabul

  • Cof cof, nice job.
