bell sympatico sucks bad man. As well as rogers. It disconnects outta nowhere. I prefer DSL networks with unlimited internet usage and upto 5MBPS for only 24.95$ a month including router for only 2$ extra!! Currently I am using a company called ACN highspeed internet. I think it stands for AIR CANADA NETWORK. Well all i know that its a decent network and i prefer it more than bell!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Most customers of any ISP including bell bring the majority of their problems on themselves. Your problem required a dispatch, so that doesn't include you.

BUT: Imagine how many other people call into their ISPs being verbally abusive as fuck. Strike one.

I used to have Cogeco and connectivity was great. I moved to a house three blocks away and connectivity was awful. Cogeco just couldn't wrap their minds around the fact that there's a physical problem in this new area, so I had to switch to Sympatico, which is OK, but not nearly as fast as the cable I had in my old house.

Cogeco tech support is in Canada, but they're just stupid kids. Bell support is in India, and they're mindless automatons.

It's a no win situation. :-(

rogers sucks man, im changing going to teksavvy. Throttling + 60 gb/month = BAD FOR HEAVY BIT TORRENT USER LIKE MYSELF.

Techsavvy gets throttled by bell, but there is a way to bypass, and you get 200 gb/month bandwidth or an unlimited package.

I switched from Aliant after 4 days of crappy service. Aliant is Bell's subsidiary in Nova Scotia. Oh yeah, When I was on the phone with their custmer support 2hours the first night (on hold) 2 hours the second night (on hold) 1.5hours the thir night (1hr 28mins on hold) all so the rep could tell me they would get a repair man to me in about a month (actually 33 days from that point) all the while I'm paying for services I am not recieving. Next day I was retuning their stuff.
