ISAF have recorded 447 fatal shark attacks between 1580-2010. That averages at little over 1 kill per year. Lightning strikes kill annually about 38 people. In comparison, humans kill about 100 million sharks every year. Humans kill for fun, no animal (that i'm aware of) do.
