She didn't die the same night. She was killed like 10 months after she was released from prison. I read that she had started hanging out with a bad crowd again, and was shot in the head/neck area by a pimp or a man. She had 2 kids and was a single mom, and she could not find work after her release.
It is so sad that she was murdered not even a year later. She was so beautiful. I watched it for the 1st time 2day and I was shocked when it said "in lovinn memory of Angela" at the end. My heart goes out to her family.
