Kelly Brown was it. But it seems his son, Kelly Brown Jr is a real douche going by the comments I can see. The last thing you want is to be rude to fans especially when your comments are not anonymous. Can't see how it benefits you KB. Maybe you are too young to care but you will appreciate my words one day
to be specific,he was from Ganjoni-Mombasa .... the neighborhood where i grew,i believe some of his family still leaves there, across Valentine's Primary School, where i did my K.C.P.E IN 1994,LOL ... those were the days ;)
Kelly was Kenyan, and better still from Mombasa. So no more is he's?
Last time I saw him was in Nairobi mid 80's. I was doing the sound for a concert, he was one of the acts. I think Kenyans should have taken him to their hearts more.
'Asante ya Punda ni Mateke' rings true here.
The last thing I heard him say was: "lets dismantle this meeting' , meaning lets finish the discussion. Very, very, Mombasa. Still chuckle to myself when I remember it.
i was a kid when they brought back his body, i think he was poisoned by some allegded girlfriend in germany. It was one of those scenes that a kid cant understand but the sister crying was heart wrenching
so you are kelly browns son so must know aziz of florida 1 your uncle he is a very nice man i used to go to mad house almost everyday but now iam in the states please say hi to him for him i hope you are as handsome as your father even though iam 18yrs old i love him
awesome stuff, never saw the video ever before. That song has been on my Ipod for a looooong time and I travel the Parisian subways with it on my ears. :) I miss the 80's badly.

there used to be a swahili song by kelly brown "Kenya nchi yetu, ni nzuri, tupendane sisi kwa sisi"
Anybody with an idea where I can get that song or hopefully just listen to it one more time?

Kely's son is right. Kelly was born in Mombasa I'm sure. I knew Aziz and others very well too. I'm saddened by the march of time.
The last time I saw Kelly was back in the 80's in Nairobi.
