Eh, Phoenix isn't actually that great. It works as an insurance policy for Proto-Babil (and might also be good for low-level games), but otherwise, it's a waste of a slot. And even for Proto-Babil, you shouldn't be dependent on Phoenix.

How many red dragons did you have to kill before one dropped a tail? I've killed 75 in a row so far (with the Treasure Hunter augment) and still NO FREAKING TAIL!!
It's a 1/128 chance per battle with Treasure Hunter, IIRC. So 75 dragons means your odds of getting one are 1-(1-1/128)^75 = 1-127/128^75 = about 44.5%.
That's actually much easier if you know what to do, have the Gil to afford Stardusts, and don't mind a lot of reloading of the same save.
Equip Cecil with Crystal Mail and the Mage Masher as a weapon, have Treasure Hunt on someone, Put Item>Stardust in the first slot, Counter and Draw Attacks in other slots, put Cecil in the back row with Guard as the Auto-Battle command, and use Auto-Battle.
You'll need to heal Cecil every few fights, but each fight should only take a few seconds.
Ok, I don't see the point of the Stardusts with this setup, since Auto-Battle for Cecil will be guarding and countering o.o Besides, the Flan Princesses use a move that causes Berserk on all characters.
Geryon is an optional bonus boss, available only on the second and third playthroughs of the game. He's basically a superboss that becomes available after you kill the four fiends in the Giant of Babil (he is kind of an incarnation of all of their spirits, and he has amazing stats and most of the abilities of all four, but if you can absorb elements, he's somewhat of a pushover).
i know that the union sheild makes you imune to status effecs, cursed ring absorbs elements and.... im not exsactly sure about 1 hit ko moves but i would recommend pheonix lol

2. Cursed Rings (semi-common/semi-rare drop from Spirits and Souls on Mt. Hobs IIRC) + element-resistant gear (Adamant Armor or Dragon equipment).

Well, Dualcast is a bit like Omnicast, but you get two spells at a time from it.
You get Dualcast from giving 3 augments (Not each, as in 2 to Palom, 1 to Porom, etc.) to Palom and Porom.

ok i si totally suck at this game
everytime some one gets downed in a fight i die trying to get out of the dungeon to use a fucking tent
is there ANY WAY POSSIBLE to heal them in the dungeon cause im thinking of just quiting the game if this keeps up
its happened on every floor of every dungeon and i always get right to the boss and im down to like 2 people in my party
so is there a way to run from a fight or revive someone thats down?
