  • Hi, would it be possible to use the Peacemaker just for windows? I only want about two in my room to block out traffic noise but I don't want to cover my entire wall with it or pay over $50.

  • @ThexDynastxQueen Hi, thanks for your comment! Peacemaker will help block traffic noise from outside. It's used typically behind drywall as a barrier, so try creating yourself a 'plug'! This will help decrease some of the noise coming in. I'm happy to help if you have any other further questions. Thanks!

  • @audimutedemos Thank you. It's a rental home so I didn't want to put nails in the wall or take it down of course. I'll contact your company when I fully get moved in to see what else can be done, thanks again.

  • @ThexDynastxQueen It's our pleasure. I'm available when you are. Thanks again for your interests in our products!

  • hi, i have a basement that echos alot.. i record vocals down here but notices i record alot of echos in the backround being recorded.. wiche product would i need to have that eliminated.

  • @FiveStarFilms5 Hi there, happy to help! Thanks for your comment. Adding Audimute Sheets will help reduce those echos a great deal. Simply cover them along the walls where you can. I'm able to help further explore some ideas - maybe you would like our Panels since they are more attractive? Give a call or come chat with us Live. Happy to help! Thanks.

  • How effective is having concrete walls between housing units for soundproofing? Would you need to add other materials for proper sound insulation, or would the concrete do the job by itself? How about cinder blocks?

Also, how do movie theaters keep the sound from one movie from interfering with the movie next to it? Films get pretty loud, so I figure they must know their stuff to achieve proper sound insulation.

    Just curious.

  • @IntarwebUser Hi! I can try my best to help! Concrete is a good sound deadening agent, depending on the thickness. Movie theaters more than likely had concrete, thick block walls, as well as theater curtains. Why don't you give me a call if you have time today. I'd like to talk with you further so I can get an idea of what you're looking to achieve in your space.

    Thanks!

  • I saw where someone put soundproof padding on the outside of their wall and they were scattered about on the walls for their sound system they had (speakers in different places) Would that actually work?

  • Can you use bed mattresses too?

  • @Pikamonish2880 Hi! Thank you for your comment. Bed Mattresses can be used, but to get a noticeable difference in the sound, using an NRC rated product would be more effective. I'm available to discuss on chat all week from 9am to 6pm EST. Looking forward to speaking with you if you're interested to talk more. I'd be happy to share with you some comparison links to alternative soundproofing materials.

  • I have dry wall up already i wonder if i can just get the peacemaker material they sell sandwich it between another dry wall and get good results. I mean i need to do this before i get star wars on blu ray. i just had a conversation from my neighbor in the house next to me about hearing my home theater with Lord of the Rings and Star Wars is going to a whole new level of loud. Geezzz wtf

  • @RON69METS Thank you for your comment! Yes, it'll help control the sound from your Star Wars movies! Most customers find that sandwiching is best, but using a double layer or the Peacemaker + Drywall is even better! More mass, more density = happy neighbors! I'm at your service and would love to speak with you on our LIVE CHAT or by phone! Thank you again.

  • @audimutedemos thanks for the responds . I'll be calling next month with my order and to talk about what exactly i need. Thanks

  • I have a parrot that screams constantly. What type of product can I use to reduce the noise? Is it the sound absorption sheet given it help reduce mid to high frequency wave? Please advise. Thx.

  • @reachalice Hi! Thank you for your comment. We get asked this question daily! Yes, absorption sheets are the way to go. By choosing an eco-friendly alternative to foam or egg crates, you help save the environment and best of all keeping you and your parrot healthy! You'll also achieve superb results! Check out some of our blogs on our website for more details, videos and photos that our customers have shared! Thanks again! - Mallory

  • @reachalice kill it and make it dinner! : ) its a joke. sorry! i just had to say it because its funny.

  • Hi, finding this for very long and finally found it but do you guys ship to Singapore?

If yes please tell me the conditions and rest

  • @boardsonfire Hi there! We currently ship via out third party international shipper, Bongo US. If you click on the International tab on our website, details and conditions are there. Happy to help!

  • if i put some tissues in my ear...will it reduce the sound? or making it worse?

  • @run450draco Hey! Thanks for your comment. That I really don't know, actually. I don't know if it'll make it worse, but you may want to think about getting headphones which may be easier.

  • I just purchased some peacemaker rolls thanks guys I'm building my own booth

  • @sleepngiantzTV Awesome! Thanks, let us know how it works out for you!

  • It takes 18 sheets of that stuff for only partial isolation? How many does it take to not wake up my wife upstairs when I want to drum at 4 am, because at 100 bucks a sheet that doesn't sound that effective...

  • @BreadandBooze Hi there! What size is your room? I like to ensure we're selecting the right product for your application. Give a call, or chat with us on the web! Thanks! - Mallory

  • at least its not expertvillage

  • hey im wanting to get a drum set my dad said as long it does not bother him i am putting them a 15x7 room with very low insulation any ideas.

  • @21zband Try adding some Audimute Sound Absorption Sheets to the 15x7 room. I'm sure you'll notice an impressive reduction of the loudness. Adding about 80% coverage, the mid and high range frequencies will be completely muffled. Give me a call or chat with me on our site so we can discuss further. I'd be more than happy to help!

  • lol :) South Euclid. hes a clevelander :D

  • @zmyboo Yep!

  • WHERE DO WE GET THESE SHEETS

  • How well would it work and how expensive would it be to make a sound proof bird cage?

  • @Littl3allie We get MANY calls a week with bird cage applications! We have an applications page on our site, and listed is just a page full of info on a bird cage. Call for details.. I'm happy to help!!

  • @audimutedemos Hi, I have a very loud guitar amplifier in my bedroom, when I play the low bass notes, the bass vibrates the whole house really bad, if I sat the amplifier on a piece of the sound absorbing material, would this still happen? thanks

  • @PoggerzZ Adding Audimute Sound Absorption Sheets will help control the higher end frequencies only. Adding Peacemaker to the walls, then Audimute Sound Absorption Sheets may help reduce some of the vibration you're hearing. Also, adding it behind drywall, plus more drywall will give it more mass... the more mass the better. You need to add more density to the walls. Happy to help! Come to our LIVE CHAT feature for more explanations!

  • @audimutedemos OK thanks :)

  • so im living in an old european building and i have neighbours above me always complaining about the volume of the music. and i'm really not playing my music very loud. I have a room thats become my little home studio but im looking at a way to soundproof this room but i dont have a huge budget. So if anyone could give me some advice on what to do that would be great.

  • talk talk talk talk STOP! talk talk talk STOP! talk talk talk STOP

  • will just one layer of these make drums sound better when there is a carpeted floor, concrete walls, and a wooden ceiling?

  • @TheSchoolsux345 one layer will definitely help, although I'd suggest maybe hanging them on your ceiling as well to try to break up some of the deflection points..if you had the resources to do two layers, that obviously would be much better, especially over doors, windows, etc. GIve us a call if you want some more suggestions - we'd be glad to help! 866-505-6883

  • @audimutedemos Thanks a lot. I`m in a basement, and whenever i play music down there you can hear it almost as loud as it is in the basement! so i think i want to put this on the walls and ceiling.

  • Comment removed

  • @TheSchoolsux34 that would be great! These sheets are excellent for absorbing noise within your space and would definitely help control some of your sound. if you want to go a step further to literally block the transfer of sound from your ceiling through the floors above, you should also consider Peacemaker..give us a call if you have any questions!

  • use moving blankets, audimute is the same thing, just nicer looking, (:

  • @ExileCU Don't get your hopes up on Moving Blankets. They are crap believe me. They have never been tested in a lab for NRC, nor do they compose of any of our natural material. It's literally shoddy material and scraps from floors to help protect furniture from moving. I'd be happy to give you a link to our comparison page if you wish to discuss. It'll be a pleasure to assist you.

  • @audimutedemos actually... moving blanketsd do the perfect trick, if your using a vocal booth, but its harder to comply with a full room sized room..... chicken wing? id give you 50.00$ for your long 7 pack, deal or no deal (: ?

  • @ExileCU No thanks. You haven't experienced Audimute Sound Absorption Sheets the way that thousands of customers have who are on tight budgets. Have you visited our website and read the testimonials and watched other videos? Customers rave about these because they are so inexpensive and have an excellent NRC rating. I'm happy to lend more advice on our sheets if you wish to email or call me.

  • You mentioned South Euclid....Is that Ohio. I'm from Shaker Heights and had a home in South Euclid...haha!

  • @GospelMusicians Hey old neighbor! We are right in Beachwood. It's great to see where our customers are from!

  • @audimutedemos

How do you know he's a customer...

  • @drummindave50 Potential customers. Sorry Drummindave50.

  • Oh I forgot some details, it's a typical room, average size. Is it possible to only place something on te floor so the downstairs neighbors can't hear?

  • Hey I have a question,

I live in an apartment (2nd floor) and I play drums... What is the best product to buy so the neighbors downstairs don't hear my playing? Thanks!

  • a house

  • @oiyabastard lol that was good one a house

  • thanks man i watched yer vids too , i wasnt kiddin bout a house , my pop passed away and im in his place so... time to set up the living room girlfriend permitting that is.. thnks , see ya on the tube

  • Hi I have a small bedroom approx 3.5 x 3.5 metres and am constantly being woked up by kitchen/door/toilet noises every day and it's quite frustrating.... what would you suggest considering the room is already build with plasterboard??

  • Audimute Sound Absorption Sheets will work exceptionally well by eliminating the high sound pressure levels, also known as the mid and high range frequencies. You will hear a noticeable difference in no time. Give us a call or view more of our videos for more information. We're happy to help! 866 505 6883

  • I have thin walls in a apartment where my room is right next to my parents room and my parents complain about the volume of my tv being to loud at 3a.m. ( the volume isn't even loud what so ever )

My Goal- To make my room soundproof in my 10W x 12L x 8H room seeing that the slightest peep disturbs my parents

what do you suggest? i was thinking about getting the audimute, or the peacemaker , or even both= question> can i glue or staple or nail the peacemaker onto the wall?

  • Stapling or nailing the Peacemaker to the wall would be a great way to hang them. If you are able to layer that with drywall, or even our Audimute Sound Absorption Sheets, there will be a noticeable difference in no time. You parents will finally be able to sleep, while you can enjoy watching TV at night. Hope this helps. Please feel free to call us or chat with us on the web. We're happy to help.

  • same problem man

  • @blahah1233 Headphones?

  • @barrythemoth friends , and Dolbysurround? -_-

  • I have a garage that is in the shape of a rectangle and its probably about 38 x 22, and my brothers band before they had to leave put in installation in the cieling for houses. What is the best route for me to go to make it as quite as a passing car as you say in the video. Also is there any books that you could tell me that would give me much knowledge on how to setup rooms, and learn the differences of isolation soudproof and etc. thanks if you reply back

  • Our website is jam packed with detail on the difference between isolation and absorption. If your interested, check out the other, new videos we just implemented to give you a more closer idea of the difference between those two.

Audimute Absorption Sheets work exceptionally well by eliminating most of the mid and high range frequencies in the jam room. It will allow for better clarity and enable you and your band mates to become better musicians AND the big one - eliminate shouting contest.

  • me and my friends have band practice and whenever i practice playing my drums, i know it can be heard far away and want to reduce the noise so i can enjoy playing drum and have my friends come over to jam, how much and i looking into and what will i neeed?

  • First, how big is your jam room? If you take a look on our website, you'll notice a section under Audimute Sound Absorption Sheets where it has a link to "How Much Product Do I need." It will also explain cost too. Typically a 10x11 room needs about 10-14 Audimute Sound Absorption Sheets, starting at around $160. Give us a call anytime. I'm happy to help! 866 505 6883

  • I play a Roland drum kit in my apartment. I always play with headphones never thru my amp! so the only noise heard is the pad noise. The pads can be heard thru my walls into the community hallway. So when other tenants walk thru this hallway they can hear the pad noise.I want to reduce or eliminate this pad noise! I play in an 8x5x6 space. The wall behind me & to my right r my dinning room walls, the other side of these 2 walls is the community hallway. R u here 2 help or sell product?

  • We're totally here to help with your application. First and foremost, our Audimute Sound Absorption Sheets are geared towards mid and high range frequencies. It alleviates about 60% of those two frequencies. Now, if you place them along the walls in your space, you will notice that the nuisance frequencies, which many people complain about, are almost completely diminished. As far as the low end frequencies, our Peacemaker (stated in other videos) will work impressively. Feel free to give a call

  • I have a home studio below my parents bedroom, mostly acoustic guitar through acoustic amps, some electric through 20-30watt amps-the complaints are coming from directly above the room I am in, Can I somehow absorb/eliminate/dissipate the sound from just the ceiling? I was thinking 1/4 Inch Volara foam on the entire ceiling and then putting regular studio foam on top of that on the ceiling? Any other reccomendations? HELP PLEASE!

  • Right before you place the Volara foam on the entire ceiling, I'm almost certain you can use our Audimute Peacemaker underneath to help prevent the low end frequencies. Give us a call so we can discuss more on this issue. I'm happy to help.

  • Hi.. im from Brunei. I tried to order your Audimute Sheets but the shipping cost alot man. It is around $200 plus us dollars. :(

  • Sorry about that. Actually, if you head to other competitors sites, well one, they won't ship overseas and two the cost of shipping is astronomical compared to ours if they do ship overseas. I look forward to serving you.

  • i wanna sound proof my bed room so i can listen to music late at night and not disturb my brother that sleeps in the bedroom beside me. what is the easiest and cheapest way to soundproof my whole bedroom? i was thinking about using foam, (is that a good idea?) and these blankets how much do they cost?

  • Depending on the size of your room, you want to cover as much area as you can using our Audimute Sheets. Visit our website at audimutesoundproofing and you will see the available quantities. Keep in mind, it will not soundPROOF the room, but will help eliminate the mid and high range frequencies by as much as 60%. Thanks again. Call me if you have questions 866 505 6883.

  • I just moved into an apartment complex & am concerned a bit about my cat. When I leave the house in the morning, she sits at the door and meows constantly for about 10 or so until she wonders off. My question is, If I put up some sort of sound absorption foam on the door, will that help suppress some of her noise that is escaping out our door into the hallway? Will it make a noticeable difference? I don't really hear a lot of noise through the walls, mainly through the door.

  • If you place 2 layers of Audimute Sheets directly on the door that the cat is meowing at, it will help control the meows that are coming through the door. I would also consider weather stripping the edges of the door as well. Poor kitty. Please call if you additional questions! Also, keep in mind, these are eco-friendly! Perfect for your cat and even you. Thanks again. 866 505 6883

  • Great thank you. =)

  • i like that

  • south euclid? are u in north east ohio? me too, sweet. i want to get some drums, and my brother just moved out, so now my old room, a small room, is the perfect spot for a drum set, but i know my parents would hate the noise, so will these quilted sheets eliminate the noise

  • Yes! Awesome, give us a call so we can discuss more. 866 505 6883

Our Audimute Sheets will definitely help reduce the mid and high range frequencies by up to 60%. Hope to talk to you soon.

  • Do it yourself..

  • hey these look very similar to regular quilted blankets... whats different about them that makes them work? i have tried hanging blankets but they didnt really do much of anything... i play drums and want to eliminate at least some of the noise

  • These sheets are made with a high density quilting process and are thicker than most blankets. The NRC for carpet, drapery and other blankets typically ranges from 0.15-0.60, while Audimute Sheets are 0.70. We recommend double layer to absorb mid and high frequencies. Many drummers have used to reduce reflected sound and and volume levels. Give us a call to discuss 866 505 6883

  • lol it worked for me coz there was also a constrution site near me 2 an i went down and aquierd me some sheets of that stuff not bad gear.

  • Thanks for your comment. That's great to hear. If you have any pictures, please feel free to email them to receive some goodies!

  • how much does this cost?

there is an ongoing construction just beside our building. really big noises! will this work? thanks!

  • Cost effective and eco-friendly, our product is right for you. Give us a call to discuss further on your application. I think Peacemaker will be the solution! Thanks!

  • thank you for the response! uhmm...not easy... surely it would be VERY costly if delivered to the philippines, that is, if you cater to our region. i'll try to call still.

anyway, since it's construction noises plastering the windows with even cement blocks, i guess, would not work. it means i'll have to hang the peacemaker all over the unit, right?

which would apply best among your packages. i already checked your site so i have an idea of the packages. thanks once more!

  • I would recommend using the Peacemaker along the entire unit. You need an AIRTIGHT seal to get the most effective solution.

I do not have packages of the Peacemaker. We do ship to your country. Please visit our website in a couple weeks. We will be implementing a new way to ship international!

  • do u have any agents that sell ur sheets in singapore or malaysia?

  • You will be able to order online for international delivery very shortly. Visit audimute and stay tuned!

  • Hey Mitch I have a question for you. I was intrested in the peacemakers sheet but cannot afford to tear down the drywall and install in the walls. Could I apply the sheets on the walls/ceiling and still get the same in performance? Thanks in advance.

  • Thanks for your comment. You will not get the same performance results, but many of our customers are in the same boat. We are a cost effective company with great solutions. Please give us a call so we can discuss further in details (sq.ft, etc.) Thanks. 866-505-6883

  • Absolutely! Like I said, either product works, but differently. Whichever you decide, I am sure Audimute will be your best choice.

We look forward to serving you. Thanks!

  • ok this its cool but i live in apt can this works????

  • Hey Mitch, I have a question. If I buy the Audimute sound absorption panels rather than the Audimute sound absorption sheets, will I get a better sound, better dampening and overall better quality/performance with them? I'm not interested in the Peacemakers, but I just want to know if the sound panels will give me a better absorption and RNC rate, and by how much will it make a difference.

  • Audimute Panels and Sound Absorption sheets work differently. It really depends on what your goals are acoustically. They are used for different purposes. While both are effective and made of Audimute's natural based technology, you would get different results as the NRC is higher on the panels. Give a call to discuss in more detail. We can review your application and lend some helpful advice. As a fellow drummer, I am glad to assist and have great experience with percussion sound issues. THX

  • does this mean u can play loud and u dont get deaf and stuff.."?

  • It enables musicians to hear their music in incredible detail (i.e Mistakes, buried in acoustic deflections, will now be heard clearly, etc.). It quickly puts an end to the musical "shouting contest" many bands experience as musicians increase their volume and intensity only to hear themselves. In a short time, there will be noticeable improvements in timing, tune, tone, and instrumental technique, etc.

  • Yes. By using Audimute Sound Absorption Sheets there will be noticeable improvements in your timing, tune, tone, and instrumental technique, etc. while creating an audibly safe environment. You will hear yourself much better and your neighbors will hear less of you. I found that I really improved as a drummer when I reduced the room deflections. Put one Audimute sheet over your head to absorb that first attack off the kit. Call with questions. We are glad to help. Mitch 866-505-6883

  • do egg boxes work?

  • lol yea man i use drink trays from Tim Hortons, they give me 40 a week for free and they work So good :P

  • Although this free drink tray may provide little absorption, you are not getting the full effectiveness if you were to use Audimute Sheets. Are you adhesiving these to the wall? Audimute Sheets are completely portable using heavy duty Megaclips.

  • The price is right for sure! If on a budget you found a nice thing that works for your application. Most will not be as successful. Depends on what you are doing. Most of our clients do not find the success you have had with the cardboard trays / egg crate material nor the egg crate foam due to density issues. Thanks for the comment.

  • Absolutely not. Egg boxes probably provide 10%or an NRC of about .1, which pales in comparison to the NRC of Audimute Sheets which is a whopping .70!

You are looking at up to 60% reduction with double layering.

  • Okk how much are these sheets and how do they work, I'm sick of trying to order things from the internet and having them flop

  • "Work" is a very loose term. Depends on what you are trying to do acoustically. Most of the standard egg crate type product is not made of enough density to be effective where high amounts of sound absorption are required. The NRC is about .50 which is very average. Again, that may be enough depending on what you are trying to do. You application will dictate what you may want to do. Give us a call if you can. We can get into more detail and get you going in the right direction. Thanks again
