You should have tried to actually cover it. You just imitated Martin's voice which is pathethic. Other people will like your similar voice and you guitar playing but I am a musician and there is no merit in just tryin to imitate the original song. c'mon, covers are called like that for a reason! use your creativity, give it your style, twist, etc.
