Diagnoses are based upon education, which is essentially a database of associations, not having experience in microbiology and biochemistry. Anybody can look into a throat, see that it's covered, and say "you have an infection". My doctor recently did that, gave me antibiotics, sent the bug to the lab, and it WASN"T Strep.

But even the decent ones (from North America or mostly from other countries) are screwed because of the system that they are forced to be in. I've been trying to figure out what Dr. Kent Hortoff's credentials are. It appears that he graduated from St. Louis University medical school and completed some residency training at UCLA. What specialty the residency was in and whether he finished it are not clear.

Was playing a flag football game. Left at halftime with a little headache. By bed time I had a 101 degree fever. Next day it took almost an hour to get out of bed because of the pain. However, once I made it to the advil and sudafed, I was fit as a fiddle. Got the fever down to about 99 and felt almost normal, just tired. Lasted maybe 4 days.
Id say if you have basic over the counter medications I would not even bother with the worry of vaccine.

shots and pills are designed to destroy people more than help people in most cases. i am a pharmacy technician who is well trained, and what i have learned from studying drugs for 2 years boils down to the fact in my first sentence. pharmacists are evil, because they hand out stuff that destroys people. that is why i chose to change careers. there are dosens of examples i could use but no space to tell, i just assume you people will believe me. if you dont then do 2 years worth of research.
The states are spending money and time on vaccines because it's necessary. I'm from Laos. We are so dirt poor. We can't even afford to give immunizations to our kids. Most die of diseases before they reach age 5. So Laos is helpless.

In response to the original poster, H1N1 isn't a government-created virus, it's almost certainly a corporate-created one, albeit accidentally. Smithfield's shameful and revolting pig farms in Mexico are almost certainly where the virus emerged. Hundreds of thousands of pigs are crammed together in a tiny space where they are forced to eat their own feces. It's not terribly hard to imagine how quickly influenza can spread in this sort of environment.
Mercury is one issue. Duck and or chicken egg impurities are another. Still, H1N1 influenza is very unpleasant at best. I will probably get the vaccine.
I know my state RI has those MODEL STATES laws. These are the very same laws that made all the noise in MA. Many states have quietly sliped them by.
Google your states name with the term MODEL STATES LAWS and it should come up if your state has them.

Jeebus! Seiferganon, 300 people will get something like Dystonia? That number is ALOT higher than the number of people who have actually died from H1N1, or Swine Flu. You have greater odds of getting an adverse reaction from the vaccine than you do from dying from H1N1 or Swine Flu.

Are you refering to the calendar year(January-December) or seasonal flu year (The flu year that lasts from late November to early March?)
I'm counting from Jan to Dec in this case. But if you go with Nov to March you come out to the same annual number of 35000 deaths per year or flu season.

Don't try proving statistics to me. I don't care what mainstream people do fact is these have never even been tested to get all 3 or more vaccines in one sitting. @Spetsop Guessing what infection a patient has. Doctors don't do the isolation. That is pure microbiology, which is not guesswork. This doctor knows little about microbiology. He doesn't explain what he's blabbing on about, and it's not backed up by any stats. A vaccine is just that, and is approved through clinical trials. Obviously you know as much micro as this guy.
The cooks of the pharma world? Geneticists, filtered by clinical trials.
Look into them. You'll learn something.

If they can't make a diagnosis without the microbio lab tests. Microbio lab tests are used to confirm the diagnosis a doctor makes! In some cases they can be used to diagnose, but not usually!

Diagnoses are based upon education, which is essentially a database of associations, not having experience in microbiology and biochemistry. Anybody can look into a throat, see that it's covered, and say "you have an infection". My doctor recently did that, gave me antibiotics, sent the bug to the lab, and it WASN"T Strep.
Oh, and I have an MBA with a [ ] in healthcare as well.

And I am only repeating what the top execs in Toronto have stated. So argue with them if you want. At no point did I ever want to be a doctor. I became an applied microbiologist instead, with great results. Not everybody wants to stick fingers into people's assholes. LOL and I've consulted on 3 continents. Not even finished yet.

Hm, well you're right in a way. Quite a lot of doctors in North America are purely in it for the money. But even the decent ones (from North America or mostly from other countries) are screwed because of the system that they are forced to be in. If you stay within the system, you're fine, if you deviate just a bit, you can get into tons of trouble! And the patient population isn't exactly the best here... majority will try to sue for anything and everything!

The US gov't website, VAERS (Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System) has published statistics of adverse reactions to H1N1 (swine flu) vaccine.
To date (Jan22,'10) the number of reported cases is 8,755 in the USA. Of these, 564 are classified as "serious health events"---defined as "death, major disability, abnormal conditions at birth, hospitalization, or extension of existing hospitalization".
Sadly, there are 42 deaths linked to the swine flu vaccine. All are "under investigation".

I've been trying to figure out what Dr. Kent Hortoff's credentials are. It appears that he graduated from St. Louis University medical school and completed some residency training at UCLA. What specialty the residency was in and whether he finished it are not clear.

"u" and "ur" are not words. If you meant to say "you" and/or "your" "you're" by that, then it's a mistake. Simple as that.
Also, leaving out the apostrophe in "don't" is indeed a spelling mistake.

'ur". When I said "your" that is what I intended to say and it was spelled correctly. "They're" and "they are" are the same word however "your" and "you're" are not. I did not mean to say "you're therapist" that would be "you are therapist" not proper english. I said "your" That is not spelled incorrectly.

I go to CU so naturally I already go Swive flu.
Was playing a flag football game. Left at halftime with a little headache. By bed time I had a 101 degree fever. Next day it took almost an hour to get out of bed because of the pain. However, once I made it to the advil and sudafed, I was fit as a fiddle. Got the fever down to about 99 and felt almost normal, just tired. Lasted maybe 4 days.
Id say if you have basic over the counter medications I would not even bother with the worry of vaccine.

This guy is a quack I am prego and am getting vaccinated. I think the parents of the 114 kids that have died in the US so far would disagree that the vaccine is more dangerous. I would MUCH rather my child be autistic than dead. End of debate! Also unless u can tell me the vaccine is linked to autism like the flu is linked to death I am getting vaccinated. shots and pills are designed to destroy people more than help people in most cases. i am a pharmacy technician who is well trained, and what i have learned from studying drugs for 2 years boils down to the fact in my first sentence. pharmacists are evil, because they hand out stuff that destroys people. that is why i chose to change careers. there are dosens of examples i could use but no space to tell, i just assume you people will believe me. if you dont then do 2 years worth of research.

os25, this is very tru . I dont speak for other locales and cultures . but as a healthy young(ish) american dude, i know it is very likely that i can ride out H1N1 in about a week with my immune system , taking good care of my self ,not contaminating others and smarts .
there is a lot more to consider in the 3rd world than just a shot in the arm, but it can be a quick fix when there are few other obvious options. i say the States spend money because they Can.

I've vacation in the USA before mainly in Seattle, WA. It's a very rich country. I'm impress with the education and health system there.

In response to the original poster, H1N1 isn't a government-created virus, it's almost certainly a corporate-created one, albeit accidentally. Smithfield's shameful and revolting pig farms in Mexico are almost certainly where the virus emerged. Hundreds of thousands of pigs are crammed together in a tiny space where they are forced to eat their own feces. It's not terribly hard to imagine how quickly influenza can spread in this sort of environment.

I know my state RI has those MODEL STATES laws. These are the very same laws that made all the noise in MA. Many states have quietly sliped them by.
Google your states name with the term MODEL STATES LAWS and it should come up if your state has them.
And I'm just saying that RI & MA has them. That doesn't mean that they will use them for this flu. But that they are in place for when they deem them necessary.

Any Scientist will tell you that *correlation does not imply causation*. Jeebus! Seiferganon, 300 people will get something like Dystonia? That number is ALOT higher than the number of people who have actually died from H1N1, or Swine Flu. You have greater odds of getting an adverse reaction from the vaccine than you do from dying from H1N1 or Swine Flu.

So do you mean to tell me that before the flu season "officially" starts, that 30-50% of flu deaths have already occured??(As you stated earlier that 10,000 people have already died from the seasonal flu) Also, just for clarification, what do you mean "deaths for seasonal flu per year". Are you refering to the calendar year(January-December) or seasonal flu year (The flu year that lasts from late November to early March?)

If let's say above 10 is toxic and vaccine has 35 then even you can draw a simple conclusion with basic math skills.
That is just a comparison. Is 35 < 10 if the answer is NO then it is toxic.

This video propagates misinformation. Thimerosal is what they use as a preservative and is not the toxic form. It is well below the recommended daily intake for THAT form of mercury and is very safe. THIS is why you DONT get your important health information from Fox News or U-tube. You need and deserve the latest and most accurate info. Go to the Health Canada website. It's a good source.
