  • thank you pandora lol

  • I hope Mustard Plug does a cover of this song.

Because that band is based in Grand Rapids, MI which is only 20 miles away from Nunica; which is where NISA (Nunica Institute of Secret Agents) is located!

  • Digimon!

  • CHASING AMY!!!!!!!!!!!

  • its..."Been close to folks WHO have" not "folks YOU have"....and its not AHHHHH....its "I" but stretched out...

  • our voices are vibrations outwardly expressed in conjunction with our emotions.

the dictionary fucks things up for everyone. the tone of the song, the tone of voice the attitude, even if he did say AHHHHHHHH and folks you have, hed still be getting the same message across emotionally.

Language is bad. id much rather have just gone aaarrgghhhh ooohhhoooohh uuggghh to explain this to you but sadly we've 'evolved'.

  • @rogerthat155 I see you have no appreciation for lyrics, written storytelling, or poetic prose. How sad?

  • @SV67943 I appreciate the artistry that flows from humanity in it's darkest times. I read books, latest is Robert A. Heinleim's Starship Troopers. I listen to music of many forms, and am a pioneer of a vibratory inner language theory that decrees we MAY evolve into not needing it, slang being a precursor. There are many beautiful things that humanity has created from language. But language itself tends to confuse things, and just give people ways to insult eachother so no, I don't appreciate it.

  • @rogerthat155 Humans require social interaction for a healthy mind. You can call it spirit. Doesn't matter. The most effective way to convey your thoughts to another human being, is through language. It doesn't have to be vocal. Humans communicate through body language, sounds, and, unconsciously, through scent. I agree that human language can be brutal and cruel, but I suspect that is because brutality and cruelty are part of our humanity. Just like love, mercy, or any other feeling. Clearer?

  • @SV67943 Your eloquence is straying from the point and is proving to me that you are only here for a one up. Like some kind of Shakespeare-troll.. My original point was haphazardly made in an attempt to pacify two people who were arguing over what the man says in this song. The people didn't even get back to me, and all it did was attract a troll who is still trying to hamper his way of life into me 3 weeks later. Language gives people crafty ways to insult eachother, and confuses people. Clear?

  • @SV67943 Humans aren't that smart. We aren't that good at things. Think of us as babies paddling around a big swimming pool. It's not entirely ungodly to accept that language fucks us around. It has spawned emotions in us, such as sarcasm. That's a cheap way to leech positivity from someone of a slightly lesser intellect than your own, or a way of expressing your feelings in a way that states they are far more important than anyone else's in the room. Yet we strive, yearn even, for equality?

  • @SV67943 I respect that you understand how we communicate and can elaborate your observations over a few elongated words, but I've fallen into temporal rifts within space-time and shared knowledge with inter-dimensional telepathic beings. I felt my electromagnetic life force leave my body and travel deep within the realms of a simple brick. I shouldn't even be here trying to ward you off. Look, I do agree with you, I love language and using it. But I also hate its limitations and implications.

  • @rogerthat155 YOU TOO.

  • @SV67943 If all this has gotten us is that in some ways we agree with eachother, and some ways we don't, then it's just like everything else in life, some ways it's right, some ways it's wrong. What we're parleying about isn't even a constant, it's subjective which makes it even more pointless. All we've really done is given aliens more proof to lol over concerning the folly of humans. We are like slavering beasts with a carrot metaphorically standing in for our emotions, on a stick in front.

  • @rogerthat155 I could deny any sarcasm in my posts, but that would be disingenuous. However, my sarcasm isn't a means of insulting or hurting others. At least, it's generally not intended to be. It's a byproduct of an abusive upbringing and too much 90s TV in my developmental years. Basically, I just like to talk to intelligent people. Sarcasm is a barrier to my effective communication. But I digress....

    PT. 1

  • @rogerthat155 i can't fairly comment on temporal rifts and telepathic beings, as my experience has been rather, mundane? Anyway, I have dabbled and more in meditation, wicca, christianity, hallucinogens, dissociatives, and a dozen other things, so I understand the relativistic, post-modern mindset. I really do. I just simply disagree with you about language holding us back. I feel that, from a biological perspective, what we call progress, and what we call art, are dependent upon language.

    pt. 2

  • @rogerthat155 All of our various hypotheses and rants aside, not to mention liberal use of the troll word, I do like you. I like anyone that has ideas and can defend them with, there it is again, language. You use language with intent. I agree that language CAN be meaningless and hurtful. That's why we should always bear in mind the PURPOSE we are using it for. My purpose is to entertain myself, to scratch the social itch that adult working life can't, and to gain insight from others.

    Pt. 3

  • @rogerthat155 I hope you read this. I'll stop now before some actual troll starts ranting about what idiots we are for pontificating at each other on a youtube video. I can't speak for what you've gotten out of this, but I've put your words into the folder I keep in my mind for other people's expression and ideas. I am confident that you do the same, probably with a better metaphor, though. Anyway, keep up the fight. There's no reason have to be enemies. We all share the same goal. To express.
