i hate people that look down on people that got into phish later than they did. I know people that have been going to shows since the early 90s for the easily available drugs and party or lot scene, not the music and I know people that have only been to a few shows b/c they have jobs/families ect. but go b/c of the music and the band that brings them happiness and musical brilliance. it doesn't matter when you got into it as long as you did it for the right reasons.

NOT all phans do drugs or even pot which is barely a drug. (I dont appreciate custys one bit) but some people that bust on them are the ones that provide them the drugs that keep them coming. So if you talk bad about custys but are the ones taking dealing with them + thus giving them a reason to keep coming to shows when they aren't there for the right reasons, you need to think about yourself and whats more important. drug money or the music of Phish? I agree. I like the spaciness/narcotic-type jams of 2004 though, I know lots of phans don't. Coventry had a lot of those in spades...just not well-performed songs, lol

Holy crap. I've been looking for something like this for almost four years now. So I'm standing in the middle of the crowd and the guy in front of me gets a hold of the trampoline. I grab onto it to pass it on, but he doesn't let go and starts pulling it down to the ground.

He then starts jumping on it along with the music. You can see that around the 3:27 mark. He does that for maybe 15 seconds and we start taking turns. Around 10-15 people get a turn, including me. When the vocal jam starts, the original guy picks up the trampoline and walks out of the crowd. Lost his amazing spot. If you weren't there, then you can't tell that there's 60,000 people standing behind us.
