You're not better than them if you are making those type of judgments. You mention real statistics that benefit France, Canada, and England yet truth is there are facts for both private and universal healthcare that show its bad and good side. While being a right winger, I personally don't support Obama's healthcare bill (for proper reasons, not death panel B.S.) but I don't support our current system either. Would it be rightfully for you group me in your right wing perspective?
It's not plagiarism if he stated the source. Yes, in an academic paper in text citation are necessary but lets not split hairs here.
My point is, you provided great research that Lee's information may in fact be false or skewed. Kudos to you. However, I feel like you lost the grasp of simply disproving someone's information for the need to discredit and bash him. I enjoy watching a great debate but in the end it seems that insult the other person becomes the priority.
@c0nv1ct1337 the point i'm getting at is whether he wanted people to believe he actually did the research or was just citing something he read in a news paper. given the way he worded his video, i'd go with the former. he said, "we'll look at the survey of consumer finances... and also the doj statistics" but the problem is, he never cited either report. all he did was recite what was written in the article he sourced. (cont.)
@cristoballs in other words, he wanted people to believe he actually read through those reports, so much so that he provided the url for the survey of consumer finances report before he listed a link to the article. that link is buried way at the bottom of everything, almost as if he was trying to hide the fact that he didn't actually do any research. if he had just said, "look, i got everything from this article" and gave them credit, i would have let it slide, but he didn't.
My claim is that Lee intentionally had direct or almost direct quotes from the article in his video that he read off. You don't see his face, instead you see text slideshows to which you'd assume would have the direct facts. It straight to the point and he shouldn't feel the need to completely paraphrase the information. In some cases, he made it shorter or "easier" to understand and only had a slight change.
Cenk Uygur of The Young Turks debated Lee on Healthcare and I was dissapointed that they never got to why Medicare is in bad shape. Since that is something that Lee always uses as an excuse aginst any goverment runned healthcare.
Again you miss the point. You tax and spend for socialized medicine, that will cost big asI said in the last video.
But... Im not worried. America is already past the point of no return. I hope we do have gov run healthcare. When America goes bankrupt it will serve as a visual aid for the future generations the same way Rome did.
look, we could argue till we're both blue in the face, about whether the healthcare bill is attempting to socialize medicine, but i don't think either one of us will ever agree the other person. and this video was not about that anyway. i was pointing out how lee doren lied about his sources to prove his point. he never looked at either of the studies he mentioned in his video. took something he read in a conservative publication, and assumed that it was true.
then, except for an obscure citation he posted in the sidebar, titled "sources", which you have to click the "more info" link to see, he attributed the so-called facts to reports put out by the fed reserve and the doj. you don't feel that's the slightest bit dishonest, especially when neither report mentions any of the figures he presented? if your answer is yes to that question, why would you trust someone like that to be honest about anything?
Great video. Remember that the bankrupcy rate in the US is artificially supressed by Bush Administration policies. So the actual bankrupcy rate should be substantially higher.
besides the an obvious idiot, HTWW is nothing more then a conclusion-jumper.
When you look at all the things he posted so far, he seems unable to do that little bit of additional research needed to present the news correct. even with his "bashing" of others, he still makes too many flaws, including compairing TYT to those healthcare comapnies on the subject of hired protestors. i think i might expose that one if needed...
Nothing...But I thought he was a Libertarain (or at least I am pretty sure) ??Maybe thats why he never quotes the Cato Inst ( A Libertarian think tank)
@sean7313, first off everyone in this blog appreciates the fact that you clicked on "reply" and not "post a new comment" when responding to this post. Please keep it up.
HTWW is an corporate imperialist, meaning he's all for big corporate interests like the ones that pay his salary at CEI.
Libertarians see through Mr. Doren's BS and hate his guts. Check out these videos
@Zag, Great Videos!!! I have been noticing a trend that the GOP has been trying to assimilate Libertarians into their mix. These videos also explain HTWW has so many conservative viewers (I always thought that was odd). I am also subscriber to Bureaucrash which does not seem to do a whole lot>>>> expect for posting L. Doren speeches. Seems to me HTWW is promoting himself and not the views of Bureaucrash and their followers
@sean7313, thanks for clicking on "reply" instead of "post a text comment", in this way I get email notification that you replied to a specific comment I made.
@sean7313, don't forget to remove from the links I sent the brackets ([ and ]) and the extra spaces youtube added in.
Check out this video IAIliSvPSjY and you'll notice how bureaucrash was before HTWW, a tight community. With Lee no sledge hammer transfer, instead a mass exodus of the leadership and membership to fr33agents[.]com
Check out BerK9aHkOug and the user motorhomediaries. At least something of use came out of Lee Doren's inept distruction of bureaucrash.
@Zag, Thanks for the info. It is apparent to me that HTWW views including supporting war(s) without imminent threat and shooting reporters is in contrast to most Libertarian viewpoints. HTWW is a Republican, which is fine>he should just say I am HTWW and I am a Republican. Not I am HTTW and I am a Libertarian /Moderate Republican???
@sean7313, HTWW wanted the bureaucrash job and so he suddenly became a moderate libertarian. His justification for differences between libertarianism and his HTWW channel is that he wears two hats, a professional one for bureaucrash and a personal one for HTWW, and as such some of views are "personal ones". I see this as being 2 faced, and it's partly CEI's fault for allowing this nonsense by hiring Lee in the first place.
@sean7313, the KKK will never have a black leader, and the Black Panthers will never have a white leader. Leadership must be congruent with the organization. A true leader doesn't wear mutually exclusive hats to suit.
The fact that HTWW puts far more effort into his HTWW channel then the bureaucrash channel for which he's receiving a full time salary says alot about his completely self-centered interests.
@Zag & Cristoballs>What I have a hard time understanding is that there is a lot of evidence against HTWW in regards to soc accounts. YouTube must have be aware of this. Is this allowed on YouTube?? Do they have rules against this??
as far as i can tell, there's not really any rule against it. so while it may seem awfully low of someone to create an alternate accounts, simply to favorite, rate, and/or promote one's own videos, i don't believe youtube has any policy against it.
@sean7313, the biggest source of evidence against HTWW and sock account usage is HTWW own inept responses. The only reasonable thing to do was say, "yeah they look like sock accounts, but I didn't make them", instead of claiming obvious socks are real accounts, threating everyone who mentions sock accounts with blocking or law suits. And HTWW is a lawyer???
The whole HTWW sock account issue is massive with HTWW coming out on the wrong side of about 50 videos on his obvious sock usage.
@sean7313, I'm sure youtube has rules against sock account usage as it relates to artificial subbing, favoriting, rating, commenting, etc, which HTWW has been caught or suspected of doing.
However it's acceptable to have as many youtube channels as you want ( personal, business, hobby, etc). So things boil down to how to manage users with multiple channels and abuse of those channels. Due to the volumes of users/channels, it must be impractical for youtube to police the issue
@sean7313, ericdahlen has loads of channel activity, so I very much doubt he's a sock account. Sheylos4785 does look like a sock account, but who cares? Not me.
All HTWW had to do was say "yeah it looks like I have sock accounts, but I didn't make them" and that would be that. Instead he says the sock accounts are real accounts and he hides his subscriber lists. How completely retarded.
About my earlier comments, I made I am not trying to single out YouTube users as possible sock accounts. But these accounts lead back to kids playing on the internet. These kids may have made up these accounts and subscribed to HTWW and he looks guilty. They may have made up a bunch of similar accounts and subscribed to his channel, so even he shows his subscriber list, he may still look guilty. I think this guy may be questionable, but not stupid. Just some thoughts..
I think the main problem people had with the soc account issue was that Mr.Doren tried to defend that he didn't have soc accounts.
Yet the hard truth is that most youtubers know soc accounts have existed and have plagued youtube users. Very often if a video makes it to the front page or front page in a category like news soc accounts will subscribe to that channel.
The community was pissed because instead of Mr. Doren coming clean he decided to retaliate with vitriol and insults.
@Zag HTTWs base is very conservative. He always has to walk on a tightrope being a Libertarian. I can understand this, do I agree with not allowing questions to be asked> >Of course not.
@sean7313, yes HTWW is in the business of spouting very conservative opinions to very conservatives in the delusional hope that an opinion traded around often enough will magically become fact.
HTWW is not a libertarian.
Can you do me 2 favors?
1. HowTheWorldWorks abbreviates to HTWW not HTTW
2. If you want to start a new thread of conversation click on "post a new comment", but if you want to reply to an existing comment (like this one) click on "reply".
@cristoballs, sean7313 mentioned HTWW leanings as they relate to his very conservative and/or libertarian following and the dialog I've been trying to have with him. Problem is sean7313 keeps posting comments by clicking on "post a new comment" rather then "reply" which makes following the discussion difficult as every post seems to be out of context.
Sean7313 seems to be saying HTWW didn't answer his question as he's walking a tight rope between libertarians and conservatives.
NoHTTWs did not answer the comment. If he choose not to answer fine, but not allowing someone to post a comment/question>>Free Speech and avoiding Censorship should always be PROTECTED>>> But, I still watch his videos—I have not been blocked or at least not yet?? He may not like his viewers conversing with Cristoballs.
@sean7313, it worse then not allowing someone to post a comment/question. HTWW deletes comments, and blocks people proactively (if you make a video he doesn't like) and reactively (if you make a comment on his channel or others that he doesn't like).
Free speech is against "not like his viewers conversing" with whoever they want, that's fascism/communism, and goes a long way to explain why he feels he has to "protect" his subscribers and sock accounts by hiding his subscriber list.
an easy shot? you mean having to explain why he obviously lied? he knows there was no way he could talk himself out of this. so he just ignored the question. i wouldn't be surprised if he blocked sean as well for merely asking the question.
HTTWs, I have been corresponding with Crisoballs in regards to a video you made
The Young Turks are Clueless, Part 5 of 4076 he is confused about and where you got the numbers from this video???? Personally, I think you videos ROCK>>>>>Peace
@sean7313, you make it sound like cristoballs is a "confused" idiot.
I've told you twice in this blog where HTWW got his numbers, but you continue to suffer from a reading comprehension disability.
HTWW claims the numbers quoted are from legitimate sources, a Federal Reserve Survey and a DOJ study. But the reality is he quotes from a very baised conservative blog realclearmarkets[.]com.
Your comment is "Pending approval"? LOL. So much for HTWW's claim he supports free speech.
@sean7313, I predict that HTWW will let your channel comment through, as you've set Cristoballs up for a BS HTWW rebutal, something like this:
@sean7313, of course cristoballs is confused, he's an abject idiot. All his videos are based on his inability to accurately read the credible supporting links I post in the side bar. Only once or maybe twice have my links been wrong, and only then do I make a correction.
Cristoballs is nothing but an e-stalker who was dropped on his head as a child
thanks, however it's not so much that i'm confused. i'm fairly certain where he got his statistics from. what i'm wondering is why he claimed that he got those numbers from the federal reserve's survey on consumer finances and from the dept of justice, as he claimed he did. well, let me know if that comment ever get's approved. peace.
i'm not attacking his or your political views. i'm simply calling attention to the fact that he didn't even bother to look over any of the sources which he stated he would use in his video. in stead he plagiarized an article which remains hidden, unless someone clicks on the more info button in the sidebar of the video in question. to turn a blind eye to something like that, simply because you're both libertarians is wrong. would you also try to justify if he killed someone?
tell you what. i'll be as fair as possible. you ask htww if he meant to say that the statistics he mentioned in his video were actually from the rcm article, or if he really wanted people to believe that he actually did the research, as he implied in his video. if he ignores you or blocks you, i think that should answer the question. fair enough?
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
@Cristoballs, I see what you saying and yes HTTWs is reading from the article, he may have access to those stats?? I dont know?? He could have misspoke and meant to say i.e. Now lets look towards the article (and said stats) and started to read?? @Zag Zero Dude seriously I do not know Big Boss, I came upon this channel because I am an Agnostic and I was surfing, Chill dude
so you mean he meant to say, "we'll be looking at an article from rcm [.] com" when he actually said, "we'll look at the survey of consumer finances published by the federal reserve and also the doj statistics", and when he explained why the himmelstein study is nonsense, he actually meant to say, "now, i haven't read the himmelstein study, but this article in rcm [.] is enough proof for me"?
@cristoballs, I haven't been keeping track, but apparently @sean7313 has been taking stats and wrongly concluded that you've not been replying to posts.
Fact is I post comments mostly to others, and the few posts to you are general ones that don't expect a reply.
Thanks anyway for replying to some of my rhetorical posts.
I cannot speak for HTTW, I do not know where he got those numbers? I read the article on his side bar, but where the numbers came from the article I dont know, the author of the article did not specify.
that's exactly what i'm pointing out in the video though. come on now. 0:55 he said and i quote, "so let's first look at some real statistics about bankruptcy in the united states. we'll look at the survey of consumer finances published by the fed. res. and also the doj statistics." he then cites the numbers which did not appear in either of those reports.
1:20 he continues by claiming the doj reported on several statistic that were clearly misrepresented and/or non-existent. he wasn't citing of those reports which he claimed that he would be looking at. all he did was plagiarize the article which appeared in realclearmarkets. that is not where he claimed he got the numbers from in the video.
@sean7313, that's the first big clue that it's all BS, an article that pulls numbers magically out of thin air. The second clue is the source itself, realclearmarkets[.]com, which if you google will quickly find that it's a highly baised conservative blog.
Presenting a highly biased opinion under the cover of legitimate sources, is highly unethical and deliberately dishonest. Claiming it's HTWW's research is plagarism.
Cristoballs did a bang up job exposing HTWW lies and hypocrisies.
@sean7313, look dude, you started off by replying to one of my comments with a reference that only bigboss686 could know, so obviously I'm talking to that idiot again through a sock account.
Both sean7313 and fearsomefoursome4 have minimal very history and activity, and so I wonder why you both decided to grace Cristoball's channel with so much activity.
I don't need to take medication to reply to any of your posts to me.
If you're really concerned for my health, then don't message me.
let's just, for the sake of argument, say that htww is completely right in his stance. why then would he lie? shouldn't the numbers speak for themselves? i'm not even arguing in this video for why i think a public option or even a single-payer system is better than privately run health insurance. my beef is that he said he would use reputable sources to prove the himmelstein study was non-sense, and then did nothing more than plagiarize an article riddled with lies.
jeeze this zangarozen dude to good to talk by the way he speaks and this sean7313 just keeps trying to point his opinion out an i wonder if howtheworldworks is going to comment back id like to see this arguement
what i find hilarious, is that when he responded earlier, he made like he wanted people to believe that that was his only source. funny that he posted a link to the report by fed reserve which didn't contain any of statistics he cited. it just goes to show that he really does take the people who watch his videos for idiots.
@fearsomefoursome4, opinions are like assholes everyone has one, but usually they can back them up with some facts. Sean7313 can't.
Read sean7313 comments to cristoballs, kleenex3000 and others in this and the previous video blog, note all the thumbs down, and then if you feel it's necssary ask your question again.
i actually liked fearsome's comment. glad to see not all of htww's subscribers are so quick to accept that everything he says is the gospel. perhaps you can relay the question back to him fearsome.
Not again, I am not a SOCK ACCOUNT!!!! How will I ever convince u????? Basically, the argument is that our government can run health care better than private insurance companies. Government needs to regulate these companies (insurance between states, including pre-existing conditions), not complete with them. If and when this bill passes it will be far worse for all of us then the Stimulus Bailout.
@sean7313 (aka sock account for bigboss686), I'll say it again, all you have to offer youtube is your personal moronic opinions.
The US is the only first world nation that doesn't have universal health care, and so it's no coincidence that Americans pay 50-100% more for health care that doesn't cover everyone, and die 3-4 years earlier.
You're free to supporting the poor health insurance companies, but if possible do what HTWW does and collect a salary funded by them.
@zag Zero I went to this video in question, the links to these studies are provided in the sidebar (Fed stats)---but increased Goverment in healthcare is NOT the answer. What proof do you have that excessive goverment will increase our health care system???
the video in question has a link to the fed report. i mentioned that in my video. however, i challenge you to find me one statistic that htww cited as a "real statistic" that was in that report. just one... fair enough?
@sean7313, still don't understand the difference between "reply" and "post a new comment"? Amazing!
Maybe Cristoballs replies mostly to posts that solicites a comment from him?
Then again you believe there's a conspiracy to delete comments your posts on various channels, and that's fine, but it's your personal delusion not mine.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
LOL...that was pretty deep at the end.
You found the citation in the sidebar of the very video I posted, and then noticed that I used arguments from the link that I cited in the sidebar. Wow!!
I really made it difficult to find the source of what I was using.
Right there in the sidebar next to my video.
Way to go genius!
Maybe you can tell me I'm lying again because Nancy Pelosi isn't in the Senate.
@HowTheWorldWorks, it's only "pretty deep at the end" if you believe quoting an extremely baised source without credit is not plagarism nor completely unethical.
You imply quoting from legitimate sources, the Federal Reserve Survey and DOJ statistics (which you didn't provide a link to), when you're really plagarizing a highly baised conservative blog realclearmarkets[.]com.
Pelosi? Is that the extend of your rebutal? To desperately go completely off topic?
hah!!! you know, at first i was kinda mad at myself for making such a careless mistake on the pelosi comment. but, i'm actually kinda kinda glad i made it, because it serves as tell for you, lee. yep, any time you get called out your b.s. like saying you're going to look at "real statistics" and plagiarize an article filled with lies, i can trust you will resort to going back to the pelosi comment. good job!
look, it was a comment i made while not really thinking about what i was saying. i admit it was a stupid comment. does that really undermine the fact that htww lied when he said he would refer to the federal reserve study and the doj statistics, but in stead did nothing more than plagiarize an article from a conservative publication? is that really your stance?
@ngjperron, how does Pelosi relate to the topic at hand? Only the unethical and utterly desperate would cling to and try to insinuate that an unrelated fact has some baring on another topic.
Cristo made a slip, admit as such, now stay on topic and move on.
Claiming to know how the world works, and having inside information proving expert concensus wrong, implies getting a kindergarden fact like the sun rises in the east and sets in the west right or else completely discrediting yourself.
@cristoballs, assume the first paragrah is a HTWW quote which is not enclosed in quotations, then yes @ngjperron second paragraph is an attack on HTWW and makes more sense.
wow, you really are sad and pathetic. you won't even allow your own subscribers, the people who support you, to ask you questions, i.e. sean7313. it just goes to show, you know you deliberately lied about where you got your numbers from, and you knew you couldn't debate your way out of it. nice going, genius.
I did not ask why others respond and Cristoballs does not??? I stated that Cristoballs does not respond to your comments, or I have not seen him respond to your comments. Dude, you are really angry??? Chill!!!
2. inability to differentiate between "post a new comment" and clicking on a post's "reply" button
As for your 2 issues:
1. I understood what you said, and to repeat, "Only a moron would think Cristoballs should answer posts made to other people". I haven't asked Cristoballs for any feedback in this blog.
2. To reply to a post click on "reply" next to "spam"
@sean7313, your ask, why do others and not CristoBalls "respond to" my posts? Only a moron would think Cristoballs should answer posts made to other people.
You never directly respond to ANYONE.
Haven't figured out how to press the "reply" button next to the comment you're addressing (as in this case)? Instead you always idiotically post a new general comment.
This comment is indented under yours because unlike you I'm not confused by which button to click on.
I'm pretty much a conservative and am not a fan of the medical plans being pimped by the Dems, but I hate dishonesty far more.
Thanks for helping out Doren as the lying jackass that he is. The truth should always prevail, regardless of your political flavor. It kills me to see other alleged conservatives embrace him.
@Amy31415, I agree, a dishonest person supporting any side will eventually discredit that side. Lee Doren is a cancer upon real conservatives and libertarians.
I think this argument of buying insurance across state lines is false. Many of the insurance companies have business in others states. I fail to see the benefit. What law would the insurance company follow the state that it is run out of or the state they provide the insurance too?
personally i think we should end medicare/medicaid, cancel all tax breaks and subsidies to the insurance companies. Next we need to start bargaining with drug companies for better price cos the road we are heading now, providing healthcare for everyone would break this country.
So its either the free market or singapore style UHC system.
Did you watch the video I linked in my last post? Think about it, its either you let the free market work or atleast try and give us a quality govt run system. What they have now isnt about reducing cost
my bad... i thought you were making a slam at everything that isn't considered a free market solution to health care, when you mentioned singapore. to be honest i still don't think those our only two available routes.
Not at all, I prefer the free market but am very open minded to some form of govt involvement. Btw singapore is regarded as one of the best healthcare system in the world.
So if we are to go the govt route, why not emulate and even improve on the best system in the world.
watch?v=r7QMCEa7hVk
Please view it if u can and tell me what you think.
cool... i really can't say i'm completely sold on the singapore plan, but yes, we should look at other countries who have uhc and see how they run things.

@Criscoballs and Seeglasses, Medicare and Medicaid have failed. Come on, you want that for our entire health care system. And if we take away the finical incentives away from our pharmaceutical companies, how will we invent new drugs and therapies to find cures. This is why HTTW is correct on this position. BTW Criscoballs I will admit you did not delete my comments when you admit HTTW is correct on this issue???
medicare and medicaid have failed??? by whose account? and you act as if the understanding of medicine is dependant solely on making money. it's not. it's based on human necessity. as for me admitting htww is right, fat chance. he plagiarized an article which was filled with lies and claimed he was doing the research. sorry, but if you don't want to admit that you were lying by saying deleted you comments, that only speaks lowly of you.
The financial incentive for pharmaceutical companies is to find drugs that ameliorate symptoms of diseases, not find cures. There is no incentive at all for private companies to develop products that eradicate diseases entirely as that would mean the demise of some companies and a drastic reduction in size of others, totally counter to the raison d'etre of any business model.
Researchers could be paid twice as much under a public model to invent actual disease eradicating processes.
I like how HTWW questions the BS coming outta Washington... with all the lies and corruption it's nice to have someone questioning and exposing the corruption.
But who checks HTWW?
It's nice to have CB here to face the facer when his head gets too far up his own rump.
There's nothing uglier than when justice is outweighed by mercy... yet justice outweighing mercy is ugly too.
Good job, Crystal... I still like HTWW but he is not above corruption himself.
One thing Id like to say in HTWW's defense is that when you state statistics there are really only so many ways of saying it (meaning it is very difficult to state these things differently from the source)
But I will give you that that only accounted for one or two of the examples you showed.
true. i suppose i wouldn't have been so hard on him if actually took the time to read the studies, as it's obvious that those numbers did not come directly from the studies, but rather from the article in real clear markets.

People are going bankrupt due to increase medical costsBut excessive government is NOT the answer. Allowing insurance companies to cross state lines and provide competitive affordable rates and reasonable of pocket expenses would assist those individuals who need health care, including exclusions from pre-existing conditions. HTTW has the correct position..Now everyone can go apeshi*
if his position is correct, why the need to lie about numbers? heck, even the numbers he provided for cancer survival rates is flawed. there are several things to consider in the study he provided. 1) that study is looking at survival rates from 1994, i believe. and 2) the survival rates are for people post-diagnosis. the simple fact of the matter is you're less likely to be diagnosed, the less coverage you have. so it's not really fair to compare these stats.
@Zag Zero, Big Boss and I having been lying low, Our Bi-annual Issue Buff Bodies came out yesterday with HULK HOGAN on the cover and a 4 page color layoutduh dude
@sean7313 (aka sock account for bigboss686), enjoy your magazine and palm sister party.
Anyhow Sean with your useless (your words) BA in general arts from Rice University, I'm sure we'll be seing you again after you finish licking your wounds.
the usual denial game... he caught me on a flub, as i mistakenly said pelosi was not a member of the senate when the vote for lowering tax rates from 20 to 15% was being voted on. i admitted to the error, and then he tried to change the argument to that before leaving.
Man, that's such bullshit. I don't get how he can hold such a retarded double standard of when he makes a mistake it's 'rare and irrelevant', yet when an argument against him makes a nearly pointless mistake that discredits you?
@Cristoballs, want evidence that HTWW is watching your videos? Look at who's rating them, and you'll see HTWW has given every one of your videos one star.
Don't feel bad, as dispite HTWW pointing out antybu86 made a great rebutal CJBetdcFxHA, he still felt that video was worth only one star as well.
The amount of quote mining and plagiarism plus the shouting down of anyone that points out the truth to him is surely just practice for a career at Fox news.
Prediction: HTWW will post comments on this video calling you a "genius" and an "abject moron" and that his video is entirely true and not misleading at all.
Lol he can't post anything. In fact, he can't even see this video. he blocked Cristoballs because he had facts.
HTWW is an Abject failure. Much like the stimulus package that stopped a domino effect from destroying America's economic system completely. Oh wait... the stimulus package saved things... that's NOTHING like Lee... nevermind.
The best part about you Cristo is that you actually respond to people who come up with arguments (or attempt to) against you.
I miss being able to comment on Lee's video with corrections (in which he never responded, but still.). I really have no desire to create a new account either way, but I cannot stop watching his videos.
Why? I guess i'm just trying to keep tabs on the lies he spews. I'm gonna need a notebook pretty soon. Neo-cons are dangerous. :P
thanks. personally, i watch his vids because i do feel there is bias media on all sides. this is not to say that i'm not expecting any bias from him. quite the opposite. his vids motivate me to actually do the research, whereas if i watch a news show that i like, i might be more willing to just accept that what is said is true.
HAHA Man I got to the end of the video where you stick thunderf00ts voice in and now like seven people are starring at me in the lab. lol.
It was amusing, because I went and glanced over the article just before you started showing the plaigarism examples and I was like wtf, he said EXACTLY this?
I wonder if Lee even takes himself seriously, or if he's just trying to get money from the youtubes.
heh!!! i was thinking of throwing that scene from good will hunting, where matt damon confronts that guy from harvard. you know where he's like, "did you have any thoughts of your own on the matter, or were you just gonna plagiarize the whole thing?" but this video was getting to be too long and i was getting sleepy.
Wow, that's sound, irrefutable evidence right there. Nice research. My hat's off to you.

In addition...
I enjoy watching a great debate but in the end it seems that insult the other person becomes the priority.
c0nv1ct1337 1 year ago
@c0nv1ct1337 the point i'm getting at is whether he wanted people to believe he actually did the research or was just citing something he read in a news paper. given the way he worded his video, i'd go with the former. he said, "we'll look at the survey of consumer finances... and also the doj statistics" but the problem is, he never cited either report. all he did was recite what was written in the article he sourced. (cont.)
cristoballs 1 year ago
@cristoballs in other words, he wanted people to believe he actually read through those reports, so much so that he provided the url for the survey of consumer finances report before he listed a link to the article. that link is buried way at the bottom of everything, almost as if he was trying to hide the fact that he didn't actually do any research. if he had just said, "look, i got everything from this article" and gave them credit, i would have let it slide, but he didn't.
cristoballs 1 year ago
Great points but the ending was unnecessary.

I will say this, Obama care is going to crash and burn just like The Massachusettes healthcare we got from the traitor Mitt Romney.
mainestategop 2 years ago
that remains to be seen. but you didn't answer my question about htww lying about the source of his figures. what's your opinion on that?
cristoballs 2 years ago
I have no opinion right now. I will check if I get a chance. But I couldn't care.
mainestategop 2 years ago
Again you miss the point. You tax and spend for socialized medicine, that will cost big asI said in the last video.
But... Im not worried. America is already past the point of no return. I hope we do have gov run healthcare. When America goes bankrupt it will serve as a visual aid for the future generations the same way Rome did.
mainestategop 2 years ago
look, we could argue till we're both blue in the face, about whether the healthcare bill is attempting to socialize medicine, but i don't think either one of us will ever agree the other person. and this video was not about that anyway. i was pointing out how lee doren lied about his sources to prove his point. he never looked at either of the studies he mentioned in his video. took something he read in a conservative publication, and assumed that it was true.
cristoballs 2 years ago
then, except for an obscure citation he posted in the sidebar, titled "sources", which you have to click the "more info" link to see, he attributed the so-called facts to reports put out by the fed reserve and the doj. you don't feel that's the slightest bit dishonest, especially when neither report mentions any of the figures he presented? if your answer is yes to that question, why would you trust someone like that to be honest about anything?

besides the an obvious idiot, HTWW is nothing more then a conclusion-jumper.
When you look at all the things he posted so far, he seems unable to do that little bit of additional research needed to present the news correct. even with his "bashing" of others, he still makes too many flaws, including compairing TYT to those healthcare comapnies on the subject of hired protestors. i think i might expose that one if needed...

Check out BerK9aHkOug and the user motorhomediaries. At least something of use came out of Lee Doren's inept distruction of bureaucrash.
ZangaroZen 2 years ago
@Zag, Thanks for the info. It is apparent to me that HTWW views including supporting war(s) without imminent threat and shooting reporters is in contrast to most Libertarian viewpoints. HTWW is a Republican, which is fine>he should just say I am HTWW and I am a Republican. Not I am HTTW and I am a Libertarian /Moderate Republican???
sean7313 2 years ago
@sean7313, HTWW wanted the bureaucrash job and so he suddenly became a moderate libertarian. His justification for differences between libertarianism and his HTWW channel is that he wears two hats, a professional one for bureaucrash and a personal one for HTWW, and as such some of views are "personal ones". I see this as being 2 faced, and it's partly CEI's fault for allowing this nonsense by hiring Lee in the first place.
ZangaroZen 2 years ago
@sean7313, the KKK will never have a black leader, and the Black Panthers will never have a white leader. Leadership must be congruent with the organization. A true leader doesn't wear mutually exclusive hats to suit.
The fact that HTWW puts far more effort into his HTWW channel then the bureaucrash channel for which he's receiving a full time salary says alot about his completely self-centered interests.
ZangaroZen 2 years ago
@Zag & Cristoballs>What I have a hard time understanding is that there is a lot of evidence against HTWW in regards to soc accounts. YouTube must have be aware of this. Is this allowed on YouTube?? Do they have rules against this??
sean7313 2 years ago
as far as i can tell, there's not really any rule against it. so while it may seem awfully low of someone to create an alternate accounts, simply to favorite, rate, and/or promote one's own videos, i don't believe youtube has any policy against it.
cristoballs 2 years ago
@sean7313, the biggest source of evidence against HTWW and sock account usage is HTWW own inept responses. The only reasonable thing to do was say, "yeah they look like sock accounts, but I didn't make them", instead of claiming obvious socks are real accounts, threating everyone who mentions sock accounts with blocking or law suits. And HTWW is a lawyer???
The whole HTWW sock account issue is massive with HTWW coming out on the wrong side of about 50 videos on his obvious sock usage.
ZangaroZen 2 years ago
@sean7313, I'm sure youtube has rules against sock account usage as it relates to artificial subbing, favoriting, rating, commenting, etc, which HTWW has been caught or suspected of doing.
However it's acceptable to have as many youtube channels as you want ( personal, business, hobby, etc). So things boil down to how to manage users with multiple channels and abuse of those channels. Due to the volumes of users/channels, it must be impractical for youtube to police the issue
ZangaroZen 2 years ago
@Zag & Cristoballs, I think this is a sock account for HTWW, some strange about this channel>>ericdahlen's Channel
sean7313 2 years ago
@sean7313, ericdahlen has loads of channel activity, so I very much doubt he's a sock account. Sheylos4785 does look like a sock account, but who cares? Not me.
All HTWW had to do was say "yeah it looks like I have sock accounts, but I didn't make them" and that would be that. Instead he says the sock accounts are real accounts and he hides his subscriber lists. How completely retarded.
ZangaroZen 2 years ago
he is on my subscribers list....
sean7313 2 years ago
Also, Sheylos4785 again on my subscribers list, both these channels commented bureaucrash out of the blue????
sean7313 2 years ago
About my earlier comments, I made I am not trying to single out YouTube users as possible sock accounts. But these accounts lead back to kids playing on the internet. These kids may have made up these accounts and subscribed to HTWW and he looks guilty. They may have made up a bunch of similar accounts and subscribed to his channel, so even he shows his subscriber list, he may still look guilty. I think this guy may be questionable, but not stupid. Just some thoughts..
sean7313 2 years ago
I think the main problem people had with the soc account issue was that Mr.Doren tried to defend that he didn't have soc accounts.
Yet the hard truth is that most youtubers know soc accounts have existed and have plagued youtube users. Very often if a video makes it to the front page or front page in a category like news soc accounts will subscribe to that channel.
The community was pissed because instead of Mr. Doren coming clean he decided to retaliate with vitriol and insults.

@Zag HTTWs base is very conservative. He always has to walk on a tightrope being a Libertarian. I can understand this, do I agree with not allowing questions to be asked> >Of course not.
sean7313 2 years ago
@sean7313, yes HTWW is in the business of spouting very conservative opinions to very conservatives in the delusional hope that an opinion traded around often enough will magically become fact.
HTWW is not a libertarian.
Can you do me 2 favors?
1. HowTheWorldWorks abbreviates to HTWW not HTTW
2. If you want to start a new thread of conversation click on "post a new comment", but if you want to reply to an existing comment (like this one) click on "reply".
OK????
ZangaroZen 2 years ago
what does htww being a libertarian or his base being conservative have to do with him refusing to answer an honest question?
cristoballs 2 years ago
@cristoballs, sean7313 mentioned HTWW leanings as they relate to his very conservative and/or libertarian following and the dialog I've been trying to have with him. Problem is sean7313 keeps posting comments by clicking on "post a new comment" rather then "reply" which makes following the discussion difficult as every post seems to be out of context.
Sean7313 seems to be saying HTWW didn't answer his question as he's walking a tight rope between libertarians and conservatives.
ZangaroZen 2 years ago
NoHTTWs did not answer the comment. If he choose not to answer fine, but not allowing someone to post a comment/question>>Free Speech and avoiding Censorship should always be PROTECTED>>> But, I still watch his videos—I have not been blocked or at least not yet?? He may not like his viewers conversing with Cristoballs.
sean7313 2 years ago
@sean7313, it worse then not allowing someone to post a comment/question. HTWW deletes comments, and blocks people proactively (if you make a video he doesn't like) and reactively (if you make a comment on his channel or others that he doesn't like).
Free speech is against "not like his viewers conversing" with whoever they want, that's fascism/communism, and goes a long way to explain why he feels he has to "protect" his subscribers and sock accounts by hiding his subscriber list.

sean7313 2 years ago
@sean7313, you make it sound like cristoballs is a "confused" idiot.
I've told you twice in this blog where HTWW got his numbers, but you continue to suffer from a reading comprehension disability.
HTWW claims the numbers quoted are from legitimate sources, a Federal Reserve Survey and a DOJ study. But the reality is he quotes from a very baised conservative blog realclearmarkets[.]com.
Your comment is "Pending approval"? LOL. So much for HTWW's claim he supports free speech.
ZangaroZen 2 years ago
@sean7313, I predict that HTWW will let your channel comment through, as you've set Cristoballs up for a BS HTWW rebutal, something like this:
@sean7313, of course cristoballs is confused, he's an abject idiot. All his videos are based on his inability to accurately read the credible supporting links I post in the side bar. Only once or maybe twice have my links been wrong, and only then do I make a correction.
Cristoballs is nothing but an e-stalker who was dropped on his head as a child
ZangaroZen 2 years ago
thanks, however it's not so much that i'm confused. i'm fairly certain where he got his statistics from. what i'm wondering is why he claimed that he got those numbers from the federal reserve's survey on consumer finances and from the dept of justice, as he claimed he did. well, let me know if that comment ever get's approved. peace.
cristoballs 2 years ago
i'm just curious. to which video did you post that comment?
cristoballs 2 years ago
@cristoballs, it sounds like sean7313 made the post as a channel comment to HTWW, and that comment is "pending approval".
Currently the last approved HTWW channel comment was 10 hours ago.
Eventually you'll see either:
1. sean7313 HTWW channel comment
2. or a channel comment that was posted fewer hours ago then sean7313 comment in this blog, meaning his comment was not approved.
I'm betting sean7313's channel comment will be approved and HTWW will use it to lash out at you cristo.

sean7313 2 years ago
i'm not attacking his or your political views. i'm simply calling attention to the fact that he didn't even bother to look over any of the sources which he stated he would use in his video. in stead he plagiarized an article which remains hidden, unless someone clicks on the more info button in the sidebar of the video in question. to turn a blind eye to something like that, simply because you're both libertarians is wrong. would you also try to justify if he killed someone?
cristoballs 2 years ago
tell you what. i'll be as fair as possible. you ask htww if he meant to say that the statistics he mentioned in his video were actually from the rcm article, or if he really wanted people to believe that he actually did the research, as he implied in his video. if he ignores you or blocks you, i think that should answer the question. fair enough?

ZangaroZen 2 years ago
I cannot speak for HTTW, I do not know where he got those numbers? I read the article on his side bar, but where the numbers came from the article I dont know, the author of the article did not specify.
sean7313 2 years ago
that's exactly what i'm pointing out in the video though. come on now. 0:55 he said and i quote, "so let's first look at some real statistics about bankruptcy in the united states. we'll look at the survey of consumer finances published by the fed. res. and also the doj statistics." he then cites the numbers which did not appear in either of those reports.
cristoballs 2 years ago
1:20 he continues by claiming the doj reported on several statistic that were clearly misrepresented and/or non-existent. he wasn't citing of those reports which he claimed that he would be looking at. all he did was plagiarize the article which appeared in realclearmarkets. that is not where he claimed he got the numbers from in the video.
cristoballs 2 years ago
@sean7313, that's the first big clue that it's all BS, an article that pulls numbers magically out of thin air. The second clue is the source itself, realclearmarkets[.]com, which if you google will quickly find that it's a highly baised conservative blog.
Presenting a highly biased opinion under the cover of legitimate sources, is highly unethical and deliberately dishonest. Claiming it's HTWW's research is plagarism.

let's just, for the sake of argument, say that htww is completely right in his stance. why then would he lie? shouldn't the numbers speak for themselves? i'm not even arguing in this video for why i think a public option or even a single-payer system is better than privately run health insurance. my beef is that he said he would use reputable sources to prove the himmelstein study was non-sense, and then did nothing more than plagiarize an article riddled with lies.

sean7313 2 years ago
@sean7313 (aka sock account for bigboss686), I'll say it again, all you have to offer youtube is your personal moronic opinions.
The US is the only first world nation that doesn't have universal health care, and so it's no coincidence that Americans pay 50-100% more for health care that doesn't cover everyone, and die 3-4 years earlier.
You're free to supporting the poor health insurance companies, but if possible do what HTWW does and collect a salary funded by them.
ZangaroZen 2 years ago
@zag Zero I went to this video in question, the links to these studies are provided in the sidebar (Fed stats)---but increased Goverment in healthcare is NOT the answer. What proof do you have that excessive goverment will increase our health care system???

@sean7313, again capitalizing NOT is not an valid point/arguement.

HowTheWorldWorks 2 years ago
@HowTheWorldWorks, it's only "pretty deep at the end" if you believe quoting an extremely baised source without credit is not plagarism nor completely unethical.
You imply quoting from legitimate sources, the Federal Reserve Survey and DOJ statistics (which you didn't provide a link to), when you're really plagarizing a highly baised conservative blog realclearmarkets[.]com.
Pelosi? Is that the extend of your rebutal? To desperately go completely off topic?
Mr Lee Doren you're pathetic.

@sean7313, 2 problems, your:
1. continual reading comprehension disability
2. inability to differentiate between "post a new comment" and clicking on a post's "reply" button
As for your 2 issues:
1. I understood what you said, and to repeat, "Only a moron would think Cristoballs should answer posts made to other people". I haven't asked Cristoballs for any feedback in this blog.
2. To reply to a post click on "reply" next to "spam"
Clear? Got it? Probably not.
ZangaroZen 2 years ago 2
@Zag Zero, Great Job at kissing Cristoballs ass, you are a PROFESSIONAL, but have you noticed he never resonds to you>>>HINT HINT
sean7313 2 years ago

Amy31415 2 years ago 3
@Amy31415, I agree, a dishonest person supporting any side will eventually discredit that side. Lee Doren is a cancer upon real conservatives and libertarians.

I think this argument of buying insurance across state lines is false. Many of the insurance companies have business in others states. I fail to see the benefit. What law would the insurance company follow the state that it is run out of or the state they provide the insurance too?

The whole thing would still have to be regulated by Congress.

personally i think we should end medicare/medicaid, cancel all tax breaks and subsidies to the insurance companies. Next we need to start bargaining with drug companies for better price cos the road we are heading now, providing healthcare for everyone would break this country.
So its either the free market or singapore style UHC system.

uche007us 2 years ago
yes, because those are the only two possibilites... suuuuuuuuuurrrrrrre......
cristoballs 2 years ago
Did you watch the video I linked in my last post? Think about it, its either you let the free market work or atleast try and give us a quality govt run system. What they have now isnt about reducing cost
uche007us 2 years ago
my bad... i thought you were making a slam at everything that isn't considered a free market solution to health care, when you mentioned singapore. to be honest i still don't think those our only two available routes.
cristoballs 2 years ago
Not at all, I prefer the free market but am very open minded to some form of govt involvement. Btw singapore is regarded as one of the best healthcare system in the world.
So if we are to go the govt route, why not emulate and even improve on the best system in the world.
watch?v=r7QMCEa7hVk
Please view it if u can and tell me what you think.
uche007us 2 years ago 2
cool... i really can't say i'm completely sold on the singapore plan, but yes, we should look at other countries who have uhc and see how they run things.

BTW Criscoballs I will admit you did not delete my comments when you admit HTTW is correct on this issue???
sean7313 2 years ago
@sean7313 LOL! I'm always amazed at how anyone can cry about profiteerring pharmaceutii
cal companies. Fact is they rip us off because they sell their stuff elsewhere for less and make a profit.
Medicare and Medicaid are successes compared to the let them rot and die solution from conservatives.
robertmike57 2 years ago 2
medicare and medicaid have failed??? by whose account? and you act as if the understanding of medicine is dependant solely on making money. it's not. it's based on human necessity. as for me admitting htww is right, fat chance. he plagiarized an article which was filled with lies and claimed he was doing the research. sorry, but if you don't want to admit that you were lying by saying deleted you comments, that only speaks lowly of you.
cristoballs 2 years ago

I still like HTWW but he is not above corruption himself.

thanks, hombre.

T-f00t at the end. Hillarious!
Fact checking instead of just copy/pasting someone else's slanted review is what separates cristoballs from HTWW.
Great job.
VecDaddysback 2 years ago 3
lol the ending is funny
One thing Id like to say in HTWW's defense is that when you state statistics there are really only so many ways of saying it (meaning it is very difficult to state these things differently from the source)
But I will give you that that only accounted for one or two of the examples you showed.
Mudd0000 2 years ago
true. i suppose i wouldn't have been so hard on him if actually took the time to read the studies, as it's obvious that those numbers did not come directly from the studies, but rather from the article in real clear markets.

People are going bankrupt due to increase medical costsBut excessive government is NOT the answer. Allowing insurance companies to cross state lines and provide competitive affordable rates and reasonable of pocket expenses would assist those individuals who need health care, including exclusions from pre-existing conditions. HTTW has the correct position..Now everyone can go apeshi*
sean7313 2 years ago
if his position is correct, why the need to lie about numbers? heck, even the numbers he provided for cancer survival rates is flawed. there are several things to consider in the study he provided. 1) that study is looking at survival rates from 1994, i believe. and 2) the survival rates are for people post-diagnosis. the simple fact of the matter is you're less likely to be diagnosed, the less coverage you have. so it's not really fair to compare these stats.

Lee Doren (HTWW) has to be aware that he is being deliberately deceptive to protect the interests of corporations. How fucking pathetic.

well, he responded to my last vid, so i know he's watching my videos. let's see if he even tries to defend himself here.
cristoballs 2 years ago
Woah, he responded to it? LOL what did he say?
Hellsadvocate 2 years ago
the usual denial game... he caught me on a flub, as i mistakenly said pelosi was not a member of the senate when the vote for lowering tax rates from 20 to 15% was being voted on. i admitted to the error, and then he tried to change the argument to that before leaving.
cristoballs 2 years ago
Man, that's such bullshit. I don't get how he can hold such a retarded double standard of when he makes a mistake it's 'rare and irrelevant', yet when an argument against him makes a nearly pointless mistake that discredits you?
Man, fuck him. He's an idiot.
Economically illiterate.
Hellsadvocate 2 years ago 5
@Cristoballs, want evidence that HTWW is watching your videos? Look at who's rating them, and you'll see HTWW has given every one of your videos one star.
Don't feel bad, as dispite HTWW pointing out antybu86 made a great rebutal CJBetdcFxHA, he still felt that video was worth only one star as well.

The amount of quote mining and plagiarism plus the shouting down of anyone that points out the truth to him is surely just practice for a career at Fox news.

Prediction: HTWW will post comments on this video calling you a "genius" and an "abject moron" and that his video is entirely true and not misleading at all.
fourthirteen 2 years ago 6

Hellsadvocate 2 years ago 5
thanks. personally, i watch his vids because i do feel there is bias media on all sides. this is not to say that i'm not expecting any bias from him. quite the opposite. his vids motivate me to actually do the research, whereas if i watch a news show that i like, i might be more willing to just accept that what is said is true.
cristoballs 2 years ago
HAHA Man I got to the end of the video where you stick thunderf00ts voice in and now like seven people are starring at me in the lab. lol.
It was amusing, because I went and glanced over the article just before you started showing the plaigarism examples and I was like wtf, he said EXACTLY this?
I wonder if Lee even takes himself seriously, or if he's just trying to get money from the youtubes.
Hellsadvocate 2 years ago 6
heh!!! i was thinking of throwing that scene from good will hunting, where matt damon confronts that guy from harvard. you know where he's like, "did you have any thoughts of your own on the matter, or were you just gonna plagiarize the whole thing?" but this video was getting to be too long and i was getting sleepy.
