I know the story behind the lyrics is that she went to a concert and blah blah but everytime I hear this song I think of a woman who seeks out the young Jesus starting his ministry. Listen to the lyrics again and you will hear it differently. Sandra makes it even more beautiful.

Very effective! This arrangement creates a gloomy and somber atmosphere, until it breaks into a more uptempo, almost "soul" section, depicting delicate sadness and useless despair.

Excellent solo voice!

By the way, there are a lot of jazz notes in many chords to distinguish this rendition from more commonplace ones. They were just added here and there to spice up the harmonies. I don't think that the arranger wanted a completely "jazzy" song, or he would have written it very differently.
