i gotta 07 vn900, now i'm a big'n. 6 ft and just at 300 lbs, me and my lovely bride climb on my bike and ride easy. i went to the harley place and sat on the fat boy and road king... my vn900 has a larger tank, wider rear and fatter forks. it's just a all around better looking bike. and for 18K less, it comes stock looking and running more effeciently than what i've noticed with stock harley's. i plan on throwing on some pipes to up the sound but i get plenty of attention and the rides great!!

900 a Wimpy bike? It's no Vulcan 2000 or VRod, but it's by no means wimpy. I've dusted a cocky Sportster rider who had just finished telling me to me to get a real man's bike... Now THATS funny! These OHC engines rev high by nature. I've had mine to 113mph before I had to back off and it was still pulling. And to people who say these seats are uncomfortable, you must not have ridden many harleys. They just plain beat the crap out of you. I personally think these bikes are great.

I own a 900 custom and I love that bike!! I am so glad I bought this bike and not a Harley. Plus why would I want someone to think I am cool because of how my bike sounds at 70???? If they dont like it they can kiss my ass!!!!

The Vulcan 900 is wimpy and the hard seat hurts the ass cheeks after a few miles. The engine sounds real whiney after 60 mph. Don't even try cruising it at 70 or the harley people will think you have engine trouble. It rides more like 650 on the highway than a 900. Not much of a cruise bike so you might as well pretend it is a slow croth rocket.

hehe yea ive dropped her a cpl of times getting used to U turns on it, not too bad pickin her up if u put ur bum on the seat, hold on the front break and walk backwards.
