Well the reason I have so many is for the tone difference. I love Steve Vai(hence the V7), and I'm curretly working on one of his songs right now. And dont worry, my guitars won't go unplayed buddy.

Actually I'm 100% self taught. My opinion is that teachers often give you their bad habits, so just find your own method that works and practice.

dude, teachers are the ones who steer you away from bad habbits. your making a bad desicion by not taking lessons. trust me and get a teacher, it will greatly help in the long run.
